The tyres and rims of the 1988 MOD are based on great ones made by Ulf, Alesi_fan and Turbo Lover and were all updated. Feel free if you want to use them!

This is my second message in this post. Thank you again for this mod, kerleyf1, you make me happy, I played all yesterday evening and this morning. My half-brother is 40 years old more than me and thanks to him I love the ancient eras of F1. He knows very well the 80's and 90's and he often talked to me about the duel Prost-Senna. This mod is really great for me.

thank you guys for the mod, but i have the same problem with the crashes and i get the original visors, if i deactivate the visors in csm

Thank you for the great help in all the GP4 scene Jürgen!

About the visors, may you default gp4_tweaker have it enabled. Go to "gp4tweak_data\sprite\visor" and set to "0", to disable it by default and runs "on" and "off" only by the options on CSM menu.

ah great, thank you kerley. Now it works with the visors and i think i solved the crashes aswell. Oh and the mod is amazing. It was always a dream to have the cars in GP4, so a special thanks to Torrly to provide the great cars. Below i've added a link with the gpxpatch ini from the mod. I've changed some things and now the mod works for me without crashing

Wich track? From the trackpack or original track?

Do you try other to run it on other tracks?

Various tracks. Beta builds with minimal features, trackpack sourced stuff, and even the vanilla game tracks. Tracks I tried include the cursed 1994 Spa, outer ring Bahrain, Miami 2022, vanilla Imola, and even the Brands Hatch indy layout. I'm *still* getting issues after re-installing it twice, and my computer's running fine with everything else. Maybe I've just cocked up as they say and did something wrong. But each time after 5 laps or so, it just freezes and closes on me.

Hi guys, mine worked fine when I first installed it. But my computer did on OS update with Win11 which seemed to mess the compatibility setting of the GP4 .exe up. So I went back to the .exe file that's installed on the hard drive and changed it to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2. After this I haven't had any crashes. Hope this helps.
