I have installed the newest version 1.0 and trying everything but this Mod is still crashing to desktop. I found out that the Ferrari have holes instead of mirrors. All others cars have mirrors. Here are some parts from the log file:

In CSM I disabled external mirror view but in game graphic menu it is still active, all objects. I try to set no objects but then I had a CTD when loading a race. strange ;-)
I had some issue too, I had a crash always at race 13 hungaroring...
Carl was so kind helping me: I switched to directx9 and disabled magic data and now no crash at all...

whats the difference between directx 8 vs 9 in gp4 ? performance ? visual?

I don't really know the differences between directx 8 or 9, I think different system, os, or processors works worst or better..
For most, I think there is no difference which directx you use, so probably best stick with 8. However for some you may notice a performance boost with dx9

For all who have crash problems, this is what I've done to prevent it:

Disabled magic data
Directx9 enabled
Mirrors off
External view mirrors off
Start in debug mode medium details

I don't know if this can help, I think every one has to try different settings...

Anyway, again, thanks to Carl and all the people who hardly work on this!

I'm wondering why I have so much trouble with this Mod, the 2021 one had the same too but are solved and worked fine, exept some white tyres at race 13 and 14.
I think that you see white tyres just because you have to set car texture resolution to high...otherwise you will see white tyres..

I'm just thinking about your crash problems... maybe it's better to reinstall the mod, but before doing these, i suggest you to remove the entire mod .
One time i had crash problems because i had installed upgraded version of the same mod without removing the previous one.

To completely remove a mod you must not only remove the relative folder in Carset, but (note well) you must also remove the subfolder in backup!!
Otherwise references to the old version remain and may cause crashes!

Since this mod has been upgraded, I guess, if you haven't deleted the folder in backup as well, you might have problems...

Make a new clear installation, disable magic data, disable mirrors, put directx9 on and try again ;)

Maybe white tyres only for some races is because you have to make a new clear installation, complete deleting the mod, in carset and backup subfolder too!
Also 2021 mod was upgraded many times, so it's possible you have some troubles too...

maybe in carset folder?
it only exists when you are running the mod
@MrRace: Yes, the backup folder inside the carset folder! You have to delete the reference to the mod you want to install again:)

And backup folder exist, not just when you run the mod (CMS) ...but yes, the mod folder itself fills up while starting the mod...

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but:
I followed the instructions to install the mod, but whenever I try to drive I load in on the old tracks of the original game. Are there tracks included in this mod? Zandvoort is Monza and so on. I tried using the 1 race subset, but the problem persisted. TSM is just empty for me.
Did you check the trackset file from the GPxPatch?
