Look around the tracks their were built !!. Gp4builder is a game changer !!.
Different rims and more tyre textures !!!.

It's amazing, I'm just starting to hurt with more than 150Gb used by the game :D

yeah，but something must be repaired from top to end. for example,my tsm and every tools about track cant work at all.
there's also a lot of mods i cant work.
the shadow problem
a lot of details
the marshall
the tyre change speed
if some one can make a remarster version and fix the bugs and can let it run perfectly on most modern pc and gpu
that should give a better experience

Only thing that I really miss is the obsolete damage model. The minor things is that there is no such thing as a stallen car/cars having a bad start, nor AI drivers missing gears or having more advanced mech troubles that can happen in reality as well such as DRS stuck/not working or head surround falling off and pit-crew having to fix it with the duct tape like it has happened with McLaren years ago, or with Hamilton in 2019 or so. More setting on specific AI drivers would be great as well to make them more aggressive with the bold and risky moves on one driver and more tyre-saving style on another and such. But Im sure there wont be GP5 except that demo Ruben plays with. Geoff is not an youngster and with F1 license now laying under EA I doubt he would go and create something like a base game for modders to create their own content. And also there are already Asetto Corsa, Automobilista, rFactor 2 and iRacing to compete against on the market and it would be tough knowing that Geoff has no support of any big company. Also doubt he has lots of interest in modern F1 compared to the times when he begun with creating the 'Revs' game back in 1985. It was a game-changer for sure, but it was almost 40 years ago and probably Geoff's methods on coding may be out of date compared to the modern knowledge of coding and programming languages themselves. I believe he stated in the interview with Jimbob that GP4 was already kind of outdated in the process of development as he was compiling almost everything major on his own using C language and probably could do more but he was limited by the tools he had back then.

yeah，but we have so many mod makers.maybe they aren't powerful and rich,but if there is a good leader,i believe they can make it.
but we done't even have a project yet.that a really sad thing.

I think we would benefit if GP5 became an open-source game with all the features we want but the tools integrated to make life easier in terms of installation and management. CSM, TSM, GPx builder, GPx Patch etc all a must in GP5. Then we have features like 3-stage quali but if you wanna go back in time; you get the option to set the format and the duration. Same with practice for duration but also if you want 3 or 4 practice sessions. And finally; day-to-night transition

Trully a great idea, Grand Prix 5 definitely should be Open Source
