I can't see the textures of the cars. The cars are all white. Do you guys know why that is?

Try this:

In game: OPTIONS > GRAPHICS > ADVANCED > on the left, set to MANUAL, HIGH, HIGH, HIGH and HIGHEST. (If your pit crews disappear, change HIGHEST to HIGH)

If that doesn't fix the white cars, open f1graphics.cfg (in game folder) and check the first line. It should read:

1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)

Or use this f1graphics.cfg directly: [www.mediafire.com]

It worked. Thanks guys! And it's a great mod. So Thank you MSchumi24! ;)

Btw, is the performance of these 2005 cars the same as the original 2001 cars? We can't make the cars go faster, can we?

Yes, you can: in CSM click with the right button on the title of the mod; select "Change average performance levels"; increase the "Qualify performance" and "Race performance" values to your liking.

By the way, are you using this 2005 Mod version, right? ;-)

Maybe try turning visors off too. That worked for me

Wow, Thanks! I changed the performance levels. But there's a problem. I can't go faster. Same old times for me. But others are much faster. Why? :(

I think it doesn't affect us, I had a similar problem with another mod and I fixed it by adding more grip to my car in the performance file, I just kept adding more until I found a balance.
I hope this helps (H)

I think Skreeth is right, however I don't really know much about performance honestly ...

I made what I call a Setup File out of the original Performance File, all the teams looked like this, I then changed My Driver's numbers, I would then do a Non-Championship Qualifying session to see where I was on the grid.
If I was too slow I went higher, too high went lower until I found myself somewhere in the top 5, I then copied the numbers of My Driver on to the original Performance File.
keep in mind that all Tracks run different, so if you're like me and you want perfection or close to it, you'll have to do the same to each individual track. Unless you're running the Generic Performance File only.

[Team #07]
Name=Toyota,Toyota
Performance=800,800,0
First Driver=16,cristiano da matta,15676,0,15676,0
Second Driver=17,olivier panis,15303,0,15303,0

[Team #08]
Name=Jordan,ford
Performance=800,800,0
First Driver=18,nick heidfeld,15904,0,15504,0
Second Driver=19,My Driver,16733,0,16733,0

How do you add more grip to the performance file? You're talking about the performance files for each track, right? I can't edit them. It says I don't have permission. :(

It's amazing that twenty years later I keep discovering new things about this game ... ;)

One more thing I found out. All the races are not really in order, are they? I selected the US grand prix, but it was actually Nurburgring I think. ;)

I'm glad the Bellini Patch worked for you, I hope I didn't complicate things too much. ;)

Your method works too. But Bellini patch is easier. :-)

Basically 19 races in that season, but only 17 track slots for GP4, so some either miss out or have to be put on a B-tracklist
