Arrrgh I was afraid that the lap would maybe be invalid but Im happy nonetheless. Nice battle between gildoorf, fongu, me and SundayDriver. Really really close gaps :-O
Phew, I thought I wouldn't make the podium, congrats to Jorge for a other victory and thanks for the work you put in on the track, a different experience from the first version we used by prblanco last year.
Gildoorf, an exceptional lap, you pushed hard for it and you gained the reward, very well done, respect. Deoka nice to have you join the battle, incredibly close with SundayDriver setting a great time too. We've never had such close gaps between so many competitors before in this league, and good job for achieving those times. I need to up my setup game having used the same one for all four rounds so far!

Nice job, Carl just pipping Hinyaldee at the bottom too... You beat 32bobo32 at his home race!
Really enjoying the league this year, thanks for hosting it all Prblanco.

I pushed so hard but couldn't get anymore from my laps. Never been really good at hotlapping but still, that was frustrating. I don't want to resolve to more assists, but maybe my constant lockups due to using the keyboard affect my laptimes ?

Initial lockups are unavoidable, but if you stay locked up on entry, you will slide wide. So you need to pump the brake pedal on and off really quickly as you approach the entry. It may mean you need to break a few metres earlier, but overall it's quicker, especially if you're not running TC on a keyboard, you want the best line possible for the exit.

Understood, thanks for the advice ! I'll adjust my driving ! :)
Another great round, the competition was great! I did my best, for only 0.200 better lap, i need to do the impossible. So congratulations to guys who really pushed hard to their limits. I like a little slide after brake when I start to turn, and a greater gap between front and rear wing gives me a feeling of flying in chikans, however this setup doesn't permit any fault, and crash is so near. I am happy with my position, and I can dream about a podium for some race this season, if all lucks comes together for me. I will keep pushing hard.

Thank you Kev. The track is so much fun to drive but at the same time its about precision breaking, its not like other tracks
that you break at the very last possible micro second before a turn.

As for me i knew i had a exceptional lap and was amazing i managed to put all my best sectors in 1 lap. Its not very often to do this.
Also i must say i was motivated because of the track work i put into and because i am half italian.

Gildoorf lap was awesome, what an acomplishment !!.

Kev you were right their too, great job on your hotlap.

Sundaydriver your getting their, clearly your improving. Great job.

Also nice battle between Hinyaldee and Carl, so close. Well done.

Paulo, great job your lap and for all the work on the league. Thank you.

For Barcelona we are going to have a masive update to the track. Its the 2021 version.
I am putting so much work to it and its my gift to Paulo and Gildoorf.

Kind regards
Jorge.

2010 to 2021 Gp4 Track updates
Well, I don't think it can be closer than this...

Boy, oh boy! Just 3 tenths from 2nd to 6th. When I saw the gap from Fongu to deokastyler and myself (0.006) I just said "WOW"!

Nice thing is the overall gap in the field is becoming tighter and tighter.

Huge congrats to everyone. Competition level is very high and also very funny.
Round 5 is on, we race at Shanghai in our first deviation from the F1 calendar.

There are a few rule tweaks effective from this round, as explained in the e-mail sent to everyone. Please pay attention to them.

Thank you.
Any news on the results of Shanghai?(Y)

2010 to 2021 Gp4 Track updates
Well, since we can't post another lap, I can say my laptime was 1.35.075

Probably top guys scored something like 1.33s

Thats a great lap for keyboard. Good job.

I did a 1m33.449 with my wheel.

2010 to 2021 Gp4 Track updates
Sorry for the delay, I had a baby who wouldn't sleep ;)

Shanghai results!

JCaranti continues his unbeaten streak, and we're yet to see newcomers to the podium, even though we had 5 drivers covered by 7 tenths!

We even got a tie for 4th place but as per League rules, SundayDriver places ahead having uploaded his lap a few hours earlier than ksezen.

Unfortunately Carl_gpgames didn't qualify as his log checksums failed to match.

On the championship, gildoorf breaks the tie with fongu and ksezen moves up two places.

Wow, what Jorge is doing is absolutely stunning! Really amazing! Congratulations to Jorge, once again!

Will we se a race in this season with another winner than Jorge? I'm really excited about that!
