GP4 surprising audio!

Driven countless races on GP4 but just completed a 100% for the first time in probably a year.

During the race, I was requested to pit for my 1st stop as standard, when suddenly the call came over the radio to "Stay Out, Stay Out"!!
Turns out my teammate had broken their front wing and their need to pit was prioritised over mine. I believe this is the first time I have ever heard this. Took my by complete surprise at the time.

Secondly, during my 2nd stop of the race I was expecting the familiar "1st Gear!" instruction at the end of the stop.
Instead of this I heard "refuelling complete" or something along those lines. Again, I am sure I've never heard of this before!

Anyone else ever had these pit radio messages, or any other ones that could be seen as rare radio messages that I never even knew were included in the game?

The game said really "Stay out!"? I never ever experienced this before!

I’m not sure about these specific messages but the in the 2021 MOD by Carl there are very updated sounds, maybe these included

Sorry for slow reply to my original post guys, work has been keeping me busy.
I am going to check this tonight as I'd like to know if these were sounds within the game or a mod.
I don't believe they were from a mod! I will check my soundset.ini in GPxPatch and try and trace back where these audio clips came from.
A GPx Sound event is the only thing it could be from! I'm literally playing out the box 2001 GP4 with the exception of GPxPatch / NoCD etc.

Things I know for certain... "Stay Out, Stay Out" - 100%. This was when my teammate incurred damage.
I was literally approaching the final corner at the time - could it be that this sound triggers if you're JUST about to make your stop?
But surely in the 20 years of GP4 we'd have had this happen before. The voice of the call sounded like it was from the game to me. Sounded the same voice as other GP4 radio messages.

I also know that refuelling *something* was said at the end of my stop. It sounded like "refuelling issue" or "refuelling complete" or something with 2 syllables.
I had no issue at the stop and the car was fuelled correctly.

I will investigate further - I know it's nothing major but I'd like to know the answer!

I find it really awesome that even 20 years later we still learn new things about the game :D

these sounds are from the original game, they are all stored in radio_eng.bnk. Some of them are played very rarely, others i have never heard in the game (the game was released in quite a hurry and they might not have finished that part).
You can open bnk-files with lo2k's sample editor.

Thanks for your reply Carl and explaining that, I didn't know that! That's cool.
You seem knowledgeable on the subject, would you know exactly what event triggered the 2x sounds I heard?
I don't know if you know further details on the sounds but maybe if the "Stay Out" is only triggered at the end of an "in" lap, or if something happened during my stop to triggered the refuelling sound?

Agreed!!

Found it with the help of that extraction tool, thanks Carl.

"PP_FUEL_PROBLEM_wav" (slot 1) inside the PitProblem_eng.bnk was exactly what I had heard!
Personally I didn't notice any refuel issues from what I could tell... Maybe it was a long stop and my crew had issues with the refuelling.

And I also found my other sound event in radio_eng.bnk file!

This game surprised me 20 years down the line,
