Thank you so much Carl!

All my compliments, you absolutely did a great work! You have reached an incredible level of detail, physics, cars, graphics, performance all very accurate !!! I also noticed that you have divided the weather into fixed seasonal and customizable race by race, TOP!(Y)

Thank you again!

I'm testing your mod. It works with ohter mods in CSM (Y) But I have trouble with the Track graphics and set everything in CSM menu. Using Carset / 1 Track, the loaded Track e. g. Phoenix Street Circuit, all buildings are black, the tarmac is dark gray, the tyres of the cars are completely black and the steering wheel in T-cam position is flackering.

Hi all,

1st of all thanks for sure an amazing work Carl and all the ones that helped.

I have a couple of questions which might be due to me being new on this "mod" world.

a\ Even if i have the 11th team disabled on CSM, when i am running the championship it's still present and I can't remove it at all. Is there a way to remove it?
b\ The mod consists of 3 parts but in CSM we see 2 parts for races (1-17 and 18-22). Either way if we run as championship it will have only the 1st lot of 17 correct?

Thank you
Joao

Unfortunately, there is no way in GP4 to disable it completely. If you use the "disable" option, team 11 will not take part on races, but will still be present in Qualy and Free Practice as well as in the championship table.

There are 3 parts of the mod because *.cuh and *.cmu files are limited to 2gb.
But you are right:
Subset 1-17 uses the first 17 races.
Subset 18-22 uses the first 5 races. In this subset, GP4 is patched in a way, that a champinship ends after race 5.

If you use the "only 1 track / carset" subset, CSM will load the liveries only for the selected track and there is no championship limit for races 18-22. I recommend to use this subset only if you don't have enough space on your harddisk.

Petrus made a tool which makes it possible to merge the standings of two championships (f. e. if you want to merge the results from subset 1 to subset 2).

In my case they are even present on the races :-) but it's ok, i mean they are just very slow ahahah

As for the tool indeed it's a cool tool to have the one of Petrus. Will try to look for it.

best regards
Joao

this shouldn't be the case, i'll have a look into it

edit: i justed tested it with all 3 subsets: when ever i disable the "11 teams" option, i have 20 cars only in the races. well, team 11 still appears on the grid graphic before the race, but on track you'll have 20 cars only.

Hi Carl,

Only if I am doing something wrong. Which is very much possible :)

But i have all the cars racing (22 cars)
Maybe I can take some prints of the steps I do and show you.

I am running championship and i have 0 drivers selected (wonder if thats the issue)

Best regards
Joao

Mod updated (2022/01/29)

I updated the mod with some new content and a few fixes.
Download link on first post - delete your existing mod an reinstall all 3 parts. Make sure to delete 2021 mod content in backup and recovery folders as well.

Changes:
- Fixed rear light position (rear lights 2 and 3 (rear wing) did not work properly on previous versions):

- Updated the pit monitor with track specific textures (left mirror will now show laptimes from the actual 2021 quali, right monitor will show a trackmap). Best to use with the "all tracks/cars" subset:

- All new liveries and shapes that have been released recently (including the 2021 Alpine shape and Zandvoort / Monza textures for Alfa Romeo):

- Some minor fixes to the CSM structure

I will update the non-csm version later. Currently i'm working on a new UI for this version of the mod.
Have fun and let me know if anything doesn't work.

another user had this issue as well and solved it, i think it was some graphics setting.
anyway, i would try to place d3d8.dll in your gp4 main directory and set cpu to "all" in gpxpatch. for me, the game runs much better like this.
