Heya, there's an issue with the mod. It doesn't seem to update the cars.wad properly and whenever I try to load another trackpack in the profile, the driver names revert back to 2001 and the tyres and other textures are missing and showing white. That forces me to reinstall the mod's 3 part files again and again whenever it happens. My ZAZTools is up to date with the 1.27b version and I did change the file you advised to change when setting up the mod.

Do you know where that issue comes from please ?

Just tried it with some other tracksets, for me it works without any issues. White textures shouldn't happen either as the mod already patches the f1graphics.cfg in the right way.
For me it looks like your GP4 installation is corrupted in some way, i would try to replace all original gp4 files with the ready-to-play-version from gp4central.

OK so I fiddled around a wee more and I think I've located where the issue lies. Whenever I select one of the tracks below Austin (under Gameplay Options > Circuit) the issue appears, but if I remain on the other tracks and still select another trackset, it all works fine

Oh, i might not have included performance files for all tracks in that version of the mod. If you set performance to "track specific" in the mod options, there is no performance file for the later races and therefore no information for tyres and drivernames. I will send you the remaining performance files by PM.

Update availabe on first page!

What's new:
- All updated cars, cockpit textures and helmets that have been released so far
- No-refueling animation tweak by 32BOBO32
- Updated menu images (weather and car setup) by 32BOBO32
- Pit call panles updated to 2021 season
- Performance files updated to Yas Marina
- Updated and more accurate physics
- Loadingscreens updated to Yas Marina
- Cars.wad will now always contain both high and standard resolution car textures. This makes it easier if you want to change the resolution in the in-game menu and also makes it easier if you want to convert the mod to a non-csm mod.
- Updated car_collision_mesh.ct thanks to Öggo's car collision mesh editor
- Updated Monaco pitcrew script by Öggo (pitcrew will now appear on the correct side in the original Monaco track slot)
- Added some more options to the CSM context menu:
- Probably some more fixes and stuff which i don't remember right now


Known but unsolved issues:
- "Loss-of-power issue": In some cases when a CC car stops on track, it appears to have no power on the wheels and hits max. revs until the engine blows. It happens for CC cars only and only in some cases. Unfortunately, i couldn't fix this issue until now, but i'll be working on it.
- Exessive plank wear: Due to more weight and more downforce compared to the original 2001 cars, the player's car appears to have exessive plank wear after a few laps which results in lower top speed. I assume this is related to some default spring settings. Prblanco have found some values related to springs in the gp4.exe, but until now, this issue remains unsolved. An easy work-arround is to just raise ride height. I'll be working on that too.

i've a crash when using the 2021 mod, 2020 works fine for me.
GP4 crashes when I hit the 'Drive' button.

I've made a fresh GP4 install, that didn't solve it.
I first tested is with the 2021 mod, that one crashed, the 2020 works without any issues.

When the game crashes on "Drive" it's usually because it found an error while loading a track. Try changing/disabling the settings relative to tracks (GPxTrack, TSM profile)

Set "standard"under Menu:GPI Resolution inside the mod options. See if it works.
I'm getting the exact same error, but not on every track. For example Bathurst works fine, but basically every other track results in a CTD when i click drive in the menu. I tried to set GPI resolution to standard, but it's still the same.

i was able to fix that issue and re-uploaded the mod. it was some kind of conflict between the new physics and the default tracks (resp. their magic data).
Also i included some new and yet unreleased helmets and car liveries by Fongu.
