An absolute disaster of a race. We need a big result in Brazil

Furious doesn't cut it, identical retirements for Sato and JV mean we're out of the race for the constructors and may have thrown the title away as well. Not good enough

McLaren

Yes!! Delighted to win the 2006 constructors championship! One big push now for Juan Pablo for the drivers championships

Latest News

Ahead of the last Grand Prix of the 2006 season, three current drivers have announced their retirements from the sport following the race weekend.

Those three are:

Michael Schumacher - Ferrari
David Coulthard - Toyota
Jacques Villeneuve - Honda

Red Bull

Looking forward to a top 8 finish in qualifying for Nico.

Toro Rosso

A top 15 finish might not be happening, but it’s in our interest to be somewhat higher on the grid.

Williams

We hope for a good qualifying and going for a good result here. Could be very crucial.

Spyker

Our teammates are very closely matched. We don't expect to be in top 10 since our pace isn't quite at that range, but we won't be surprised. Hopefully a smooth qualifying from our boys.

Honda

16th from JV is a poor way to round off his career, we wanted to have him succeed and show the driver he can be, but it wasn't to be.

Sato and JPM are line astern, we need a win

McLaren

What a great start to the weekend, some fantastic pace in qualifying, fingers crossed for an incident free race.

Williams

Wasn't a good qualifying but most important is Felipe in P5. Hopefully we have a good race and a chance to stay P4, otherwise it's going to be disappointing one.

Spyker

Quali pace looked good for us, so hopefully we expect a good race to end the season on a high.

Red Bull

Worse than expected, however we will do better tomorrow.

Toro Rosso

We outperformed Rosberg, which is really nice, however we have to finish the race this time

Red Bull

Disaster for Kimi, we are out of points-scoring positions this time. Rosberg never seemed to be able to navigate in the wet weather. Thankfully, Kimi gets to keep the 3rd place in the standings. Truly a wonderful year we had, exceeded our expectations a lot. Looking forward to 2007, where we’ll see our first in-house developed car.

Toro Rosso

Finishing the race is what mattered to us, we’re looking forward to next season, scoring points this season was a surprise for us, however our cars were plagued by reliability issues, which we will fully focus on.

Honda


SATOOOOOO!!!!! 2x WORLD CHAMPION!

Unbelievable performance, to win in a Honda, we are champions, the DC always has more weight than the CC, it's what we really wanted to win

McLaren

Absolutely gutted for Juan-Pablo, just didnt have the same pace in the changeable conditions. We hope he will stay on for 2007 where we again will be targeting both titles.

Spyker

A full winter debrief. Whilst happy with 8th in the constructors we want to start making our way up the grid, and a tie up for 2007 with McLaren will help with our aims

Williams

Another podium for Felipe to end the season on a high! Nick picks up few points and that wraps up our season. We're happy with fourth in the constructors considering how much we had problems and hopefully we come back stronger in 2007.

On that note, I'm officially stepping down as a Williams manager as I'm taking a break from this series. Might come back sometime this year as I have other things to do.

BMW

Great race from Ralf to get even higher at the Constructors Championship standings. Unexpectedly good end of a season for us, showing that we move to the right direction. Hope for a much stronger results in the future.
