Sad to see Kobayashi having a bad day, he couldn’t really find the pace around Monaco today. Hopefully we can score more points in the race. Maybe Kimi can surprise us in the race.

Toro Rosso

Great one from Rosberg, he and our car are a great match. We believed in his talent and he delivered. Hopefully he’ll return to the main team in the near future.

Fantastic lap from Felipe! Very strong qualifying from us to put both of our cars in top 3. We also need to be wary of McLarens as strategy is a huge key around here, so we need to get it right.

Spyker

Not bad actually. Andre and Timo nicely settling there in P11 & P12. Hopefully we expect something good as far as mistakes are concerned.

As mentioned, no screenshots this week. I will post the full race as a video once my internet gets upgraded at the weekend.

Another podium for Montoya and Webber outscoring Robert in just one outing see's us keep a lead on both championships.

P2 for Felipe and he still scores podiums! We've lost the race lead which is a bit of a big blow. Nevertheless the race result is ok, a bit shame for Nick who again finishes outside of points.

We are still 2nd in the constructors, but Hondas are looking like a real threat for us at the moment.

Spyker

Wow, we did not expect that to happen! Fantastic result from both Andre and Timo today, scoring 7 points in total for our team. Well deserved!

A bad day for the team, if Kamui qualified higher, he would have scored points.

Toro Rosso

YES! What a result, nice one, Nico. The car really suits him. Sadly AJ couldn’t finish the race.

In my absence as team leader it has been fantastic to see Sato continue to push for the title.

Despite some good practice times, JV still seems to be way off the pace in quali or the race and its significantly hampering us, we may look to make an announcement soon
Toyota

A poor race. Not good enough. We must improve at Silverstone.

Not an ideal session for us, we were slower than our sister team, which is even worse.

Toro Rosso

We were quicker than Red Bull, which gives our drivers a morale boost ahead of qualifying.

Looking good, but a bit bad news to our side. Our pace isn't quite quicker than the frontrunners, and it might be difficult to qualify for Top 5 so we need some luck here.

Spyker

Anthony's pace in P6 is very interesting, Andre a lot slower compared to him. We expect qualifying to be very hard for us at this moment.

Nicely done, Kimi. A good start tomorrow is all you need. A bad day for Kamui, though. He needs some luck and a clean race to recover a tiny bit.

Toro Rosso

Our expectations are at a low level.

Felipe has done very good job to start in P2 splitting the McLarens. Nick's quali pace doesn't sound too good, as he'll have difficult time to battle for points. It's going to be a very tough battle, but we hope to have a good race from here.

Spyker

Andre and Timo both start in mid-positions. Not so bad quali for us, but we shouldn't risk too much in the race.

2006 British Grand Prix

Hello and welcome to the 2006 British Grand Prix. Juan-Pablo Montoya took yet another pole for Mclaren yesterday but can he convert it into another win? Let's find out.

Lap 1/60

It's lights out and away we go.

Massa and Montoya are side by side!

Montoya keeps the lead.

Raikkonen passes Massa for 2nd. One of a number of overtakes at the end of the straight.

It's not been a good start for Webber. He's in 6th.

Lap 2/60

A look at the order.

Button moves into 3rd.

Di Resta runs into the back of Rosberg. Both will need to pit.

Lap 3/60

Heidfeld passes Webber for P6.

Lap 4/60

That's not looking good for Allmendinger. That'll be the end of his race.

A spin for Michael Schumacher.

Right into the path of Lotterer!

Michael Schumacher is out.

Lotterer will need to pit.

Whilst that was happening Massa lost places to both Sato and Heidfeld.

Sato has an off.

Rejoining infront of Webber in 7th.

Lap 5/60

Coulthard spins in the Toyota.

Disaster for Ferrari. It looks like Vettel's engine has let go.

Lap 6/60

Sato passes Massa.

Lap 8/60

Alonso dives down the inside of Villeneuve.

Lap 10/60

Button overtakes Raikkonen for 2nd.

Alonso passes Webber for 7th.

Lap 11/60

Sato moves into 4th.

Villeneuve takes 8th from Webber.

Lap 12/60

It's looking mighty close at the front.

Button takes the lead!!

Lap 15/60

Sato passes Raikkonen for 3rd.

A look at the current order.

Lap 17/60

Sato passes Montoya for 2nd!

Race leader Button pits.

Lap 22/60

Villeneuve runs wide.

Lap 27/60

The order after the first round of stops.

Trulli has a spin.

He's put it into the wall. That's him done for the day.

Lap 29/60

Rosberg spins in the Toro Rosso.

Lap 32/60

Villeneuve, Coulthard and Barrichello are having a really good battle for 9th.

Villeneuve runs a little wide and drops 2 places.

Lap 34/60

A spin for Massa. He drops to 8th.

Lap 37/60

Webber passes Alonso for 6th.

Lap 38/60

Alonso retakes the position.

Alonso's makes a mistake under pressure from Webber.

He's in the gravel. Replays show there was no contact.

The Spaniard continues in 11th.

Lap 44/60

Webber has an issue and is going slowly!

He pits but it looks like the team can fix the issue to keep him in the race.

Lap 46/60

Raikkonen has leapfrogged Montoya by going long.

Lap 47/60

Sato is looking quick on these tyres. Could the lead change hands?

Lap 48/60

Lotterer is holding up Button!!!

Lap 51/60

Sato has a run on Button.

The British driver just about holds onto the lead.

Hang on, all this battling is allowing Raikkonen to catch up!

Lap 53/60

BUTTON RUNS WIDE!

He drops to 3rd!

Here's a quick look at the order.

Glock spins off...

And slams into the wall, he's out.

Kobayashi has an issue and pits. Looks like a puncture.

Lap 54/60

Rosberg has a problem.

So does Heidfeld!

Lap 55/60

Great run for 2nd, even being in contention for the win. Sadly Kobayashi had issues, as others had, so I guess it’s just been a matter of bad luck.

Toro Rosso

A very bad day for the team, with both our drivers ending up in the garage. We hoped for more, but you can only ask for so much. Let’s hope next race is better for us.

Hard not to feel for our rivals Toyota, unlucky for Button whos been showing real pace, that small error shows the fine margins at the top. Another great win for Satooo, 4 wins to Montoyas 3, but the gap is still pretty big, we need better consistency when not winning. Still, he was rapid all day, to run wide and still come back in win is amazing.

Good to see JV turn practice pace into a result for the first time in a while, P6 is a decent return, we need to see him keep this up lest we give Mathias a chance.
