Hello!

The most important thing is that your textures names must have the same names that the textures names assigned to the car.
You have 2 choices:

Either you rename the textures manually as:
hi_rsct21_c.tex
hi_rsct21_m.tex
hi_rsct21_1.tex
hi_rsct21_2.tex
hi_rsct21_d.tex

Or you have to modify the textures names assigned to the car by opening your .gp4 files with GP4Builder:
- Click on Tools, Edit materials, rename your textures names and save your .gp4 files.

Important note: the materials names assigned into the .gp4 files must be written without the prefix "hi_" but your .tex files must have the prefix "hi_"
When you convert your tga files into tex, use these settings:
- DXT5
- Full transparency
- Number of mipmaps: 4
- flip
- prefix: hi

Else you can edit the name of cars texture with Wad Controller, just right click on a GP4 file in Wad Controller. Choose .GP4 Tools and select Shape Texture Changer. :p
