Here are some screenshots of New York track. I finished it without conviction and satisfaction, so there are still many things to do or finished (particularly Brooklyn bridge) but I give up. Anybody can continue one day if he wants. My great frustation, as I always say, is that I don't know how to built a dat file. Until I know how to do it, it's not interesting for me and you all to release some tracks. In effect, one more time, I used some objects that don't belong to me. I took a look on "The GrandPrixGames.org Permissions Policy" and I read the authors I leeched give the permission to edit they unfinished work. But I would like to have a confirmation from them. Thanks to them by advance and thanks to them for they works : Kimi the champ (dat), jimbob1 (buildings from Detroit), tumyeto (Cargo from Miami). The boats and ocean are from Monaco and/or sketchfab. I'm only 17 old years (18 in a few days), I play GP4 since 12, I am in this forum since only two years but here I learned many things about doing tracks. I know and hope that very soon I will be able to create dat, otherwise why carry on to built tracks which I'm not the whole author ?

Congratulations on your work! I understand your thinking, but I believe that your evolution is very large and in a short time you will learn. The important thing is to not stop trying, that's what I've been doing, following the tips of friends in this space.

Thanks for sharing.

I like this project and maybe adding other external images from the pilot's helmet just to judge better ...

Great to have you here in the community! You are very young and bring so much fresh energy around here. Maybe I will also build some dats in the future, but I'm still not sure as I'm struggling with other things these days. I'm still dreaming of having all former F1 tracks for GP4 one day around 2030. Great to see a new track builder here! (H) (Y)

Many thx thestig88 and everyone.

TGF1Driver2 : Thank you for your kind words. I try my best to build the best tracks as possible but when I fail I prefer to give it up. As I told you one day the next step is now a dat. I study all the tracks i love of the other modders by opening them with GP4builder and I learn much. There are really many very nice tracks. Yes, I'm a new track builder but it's long and hard to do, as you know. There's another new track builder, Ruitap makes good tracks too. But we'll never be a Meteoro or a Turbo lover (or others I don't know) ! Many thanks again !

Thank you so much for the track, your works are very good, keep going! I'm almost 59 years old, could be your grandpa but, despite our difference in age, we both love this game trying to improve our skills to keep this game alive. You have all the life ahead of you, enjoy always pursuing the best you could do!

I also had an idea of an New York City track back in 2010. It had an amazing 12.2 kilometer long straight from Morningside Heights 118 West Street to Rector Street near ground zero. We could build a short version of this track based on the wad file of your track if you want to. ;) (Y)

Jimbob : Many thanks jimbob, it's very kind of you !:-)

TGF1Driver2 : Why not ? It would surely be amazing. Tell me what I've got to do exactly. For the Brooklyn bridge, it's difficult having a 3d object as you maybe saw in my track. For the rest i'll try my best. And you are right, we can do use the files of my track. If we need it, we can use too my Manhattan track : [www.grandprixgames.org]

I will see if I will find the map of the planned layout from 2010/2011 tomorrow. I should have it somewhere on an old external hard drive.

It is indeed the lost F1 track of Jersey, where they wanted to race on back in 2014 already but actually never did. Great work and great track! :-o (Y) (H) (I)

By the way, your Manhattan track is great as well, but a bit tricky to drive.
