Thank you for the update.
sorry, i messed up a formula for the performance calculator with the last update. it's fixed now an re-uploaded.

Thanks for the update Carl.

Major update available on first page.

Thanks to Prblanco you can now directly export a Cap-file out of the excel-sheet (which might be more user-friendly for csm-mods).

Also the editor has an updated layout and we re-sorted all the values to be in the right order. For now, it already covers more tahn 350 physics-related entries from the gp4.exe.

Thanks Carl! Amazing job my friend
Massive update, thanks!

Thanks again
New version available at first post!
prblanco and SDI found some more HP related values (rows 77-81) and also some fixes and small improvements were made.

Very happy for everybody who dives into GP4-physics and helps to improve this tool even further.

good job carl!
Can anyone help me with a physics problem, it's with any physics I use from 2015 in qualifying all is good no problems but when i get to the race the cars always out brake themselves after long straights and go off, I am using the full fuel tweak by prblanco, is there a parameter in the physics file I can change to sort this or is it a bug that cannot be fixed?. Thanks

Thanks so much fongu m8, worked a treat!. Cheers for that:)(B)
Sheet updated (first post).

Change note:
- Downshift limit: Prblanco figuerd out how the game caluclates downshifts (for auto-gears as well as for CC cars). The formula is updated and helps you to find the right downshift limit.

- Engine / Wheel RPM Ratio added: This is a very important one. It updates the Engine / Wheel rpm ratio if you change the default tyre size. It is what caused the "up-shift issue" with my 2022 mod. The correct ratio is now calculated automatically and added to patch.ini.

All credits to Prblanco and a thousand thanks to him for these important finds!

thanks carl, that's what i did, lower the rpm in physics and it stopped locking the gear
you didn't because you can't edit this value in the old physics editor.

I did it in physics, which is in the gpxdata folder, with the phisica editor, which is a red cart, the icon, it was 15,000 rpm, I put 14,770 and it stopped locking the gear, I use no-csm mod, I didn't get used to csm

your mixing things up.
1. the 2022 mod doesn't use physics files (g3p) as Fongu and I told you already. It directly patches the gp4.exe via patch.ini and covers by far more physics values than the old editor did.
2. no current F1 car goes up to 14770 rpm under normal circumstanes, that's highly unrealistic. If you watch F on tv you can see that they usually don't go higher than 12000.
3. the value prblanco found in the gp4.exe and which is now added to the physics calculator is related to the rear tyres, it doesn't change engine rpm.

:-)
