Good evening everybody!

I know I'm missing from here, but I owe you all a text. And, at least for now, it's a farewell to the championship.

Over all these years, whether as a race driver, test driver or even as a team owner, I had so much fun participating in GPGSL. Along with all the time I organized the GPGSL-3, it was a great year here in the group.

But my time is short. And the little free time I have is to try to find motivation to climb my steps. To make my YouTube channel grow (and, I confess, it's hard to keep motivated). To seek new specializations, after all, the field of Social Communication in Brazil is increasingly depreciated.

So after the end of this season I will say "see you later" to all of you. It would be cowardly of me to quote one or the other, I would forget many people. So feel all of you hugged and grateful for the reception I've always had here on the forum, whether through GP3 or GP4.

For those who want to follow my work and help with publicity and engagement (I know it's hard to understand Portuguese; I promise to make videos in English very soon), you can follow @pgmpapoveloz on social media and, of course, subscribe to my professional channel. Or follow me (@rodvs83).

To all, eternal gratitude!!

One Racing driver and team manager
GPGSL-3: champion in 2007/2013/2014!
GPGSL-4: testdrivers champion in Season 11!

Race Day - Round 8 - Turkey GP

Welcome back everyone to beautiful Istanbul Park here in Turkey. The race is about to begin, so without further ado let's go to the track.

Paulo Silva will start at the front after a strong performance yesterday

Carlos Rodriguez will start alongside him, hoping for the steal at the first lap

Kederer has a good start, trying to sneak past both Rodriguez and Silva

Silva breaks and Kederer can't avoid the contact

The German drops to 5th

This has allowed Gustavo and Beggani to gain one position each

Kederer goes for the overtake, he wants his position back

He overtakes Beggani for the 4th place

Vitor Gustavo sets the fastest lap, and is now getting closer to Rodriguez

We may have a South-American duel in the next laps

Beggani attacks Kederer

And overtakes the former Champion, good pace by the Mistrals so far

As we can see in the replay, Kederer almost lost control of his car

Russel povertakes Karda for the 7th place

Buitenhuis tries an overtake on O'Neill

Clean job by the Dutch

Elleker holds the final points position

Buitenhuis now tries to overtake Karda

Karda defends from the attack

But Buitenhuis uses the outside and overtakes for the 8th place

As we see how the top 10 has changed so far, Gilson on a quiet 19th place

The same goes for Majumdar in 21st and Warrington in 22nd

Scala got closer to Elleker

He goes for the move

Job done by the Italian

Bouchard takes the opportunity and also overtakes Elleker

Majumdar tries an impressive move, to overtake three cars at once

But he only manages to overtake two of them, still a great move

Gustavo has finnaly reached Rodriguez

He tries the overtake through the inside

Good job by the Brazilian, meanwhile Beggani is also aproaching both of them

One lap later and Beggani is right at Rodriguez tail

Pedersen, Hinz and De Bruyker with a quiet race so far

Gilson attacks Keranen

But the Finn closes the door

Beggani looking for an opportunity

Unssen by the cameras, Karda has overtaken Buitenhuis, and now overtakes Russel

The replay shows Buitenhuis trying a move on Russel

They were side by side

This has allowed Karda to overtake the Dutch

And also overtake Russel

Sakata on a good 11th place

Hinz touched Pedersen

He spins

And returns only in 22nd

Parachki overtakes De Bruyker for the 16th place

Keranen trying to overtake Gilson

Job done

Buitenhuis trying once again the overtake on Russell

But this time he manages to overtake him

O'Neill is also trying a move on Russel

But they touch

Russell goes into the gravel

While O'Neill spins and faces the wrong direction

Russell returns in 11th

While the Irish returns in dead last

Warrington touchs the back of Keranen's car

Another car facing the wrong position

McCarthy overtakes Kederer for the 5th place

But the former champion gets it back rigth away

A light rain has started in the track

Kederer seems to have some problems

It's his transmission

And he is out of the race

Beggani starts the round of pit stops

Rodriguez who had already made his stop was trying to overtake Pedersen

They touch, and Rodriguez car spins

He returns right in front of his teammate, a shame

Gustavo locks up

He manages to not loose a single place

After the pit stop, Gustavo finds himself behind Beggani

He locks up and the touch

Gustavo returns in 2nd place still

While Beggani is stuck in the gravel, can he go back to the track?

Majumdar is the last one to pit

Beggani managed to return in 14th place, but Pedersen is trying a move on him

Oh no! Another touch

The French goes wide into the gravel once again

He sure will be pissed

Pedersen is facing the worng direction

He return in 20th

While Beggani sits now in last place

Here are the standings after the round of pit stops

Paulo Silva sets the fastest lap

With five laps to go, this is how the top 10 has changed so far

Scala is out

Transmission problems for him aswell

With this, O'Neill is inside the points

Final lap for Silva

Paulo Silva wins the Turkish GP

Vitor Gustavo finishes in second

And Gareth McCarthy with last place in the podium today.

John W in 14th place missing from the results screen. Not a good race weekend anyway.

Well that was another race to forget.

Joseph Gilson :: Southern Cross Racing :: Race Driver
We should reduce the race length, lost a lot of points into last two races ;)

ooof, how I managed to salvage points from that race will remain a mystery.

In any case, thanks for doing the coverage, highly appreciated (Y)

Nathan starts running races and I start getting screwed. Coincidence? I think so.

A nice result for my "return" race.

Christel VXR driver #6.

Once again hard to find the words. Carlos might have had the pace for a podium without that spin and to Matteo the team can only apologize. It would have been some solid points, at least, without the transmission prob. Sorry, mate.

Thanks, mate! :)

Is a great feeling to convert the Pole in an amazing victory. Probably my best win.

On the other hand, feel bad for the unlucky race of Nico.

A note for the great coverage, once again. Congratulations!

Let's keep pushing...

No pace in qualifying or in the race...the team was was clearly caught out. Quite a non productive weekend eventually.

Kimi forever!
That was a good result. Double points at this point of the season is a good showing for the team.
