Someone stole my helmet, and I had to drive using an old borrowed one

Good session at least, let’s hope it continues in the qualifying

Not a great session for us. Still I think they’re might be pace for us here.

Also I’d like to schedule a press conference for after race. We have some massive news to announce.

An old one from Bernoldi. The orange color matches at least.

Probably something wrong in the mod, I will try to fix it for the next race

Sorry for the delay in getting the next session uploaded. I've been quite busy all week and haven't had time to run the session. I'm hoping to get qualifying run and uploaded by tonight, just as long as nothing comes up to keep me from it.

No worries mate, take all the time you need. We’re with you.
GPGSL Rd 5 European GP – Qualifying

Hello again and welcome back to Donington, where we are preparing for the start of the qualifying session for the race drivers. We saw how the pace was during the wet testers free practice, now we’ll get to see how it goes in the dry. Who will be the one to take pole position? We’ll find out within 30 minutes from now.

Weather Report

Out first for group 1 is the AMR of Elleker.

As such he sets the initial provisional pole time of the session.

.05s off the fastest time for Russell sees him slot into 2nd.

He gets demoted though as Scala goes slightly quicker.

Beggani crosses the line and sets the 4th fastest time.

A great lap from Soutsen sees the Christel driver take provisional pole from Elleker.

Kederer sets his time, ending just under half a second off from the fastest time and slowest of the group. He won’t be happy with himself no doubt.

Bouchard in the Mist sets his time and goes 6th fastest.

Keranen goes 5th fastest.

Karda sets a really good lap to take provisional pole.

Hinz in the other MAC can’t seem to match the same pace and ends his lap as the 6th fastest time.

Gilson is showing some really good pace as he goes 2nd fastest.

Onto group 2 and De Bruyker is out first.

The reigning champion ends his lap and goes 4th fastest.

The wooden spoon gets passed on to Pedersen as he sets his time.

5th place so far for Silva in the Mistral.

Which becomes 6th as Majumdar comes across the line.

The pace of MMM looks to be good here today as Gustavo goes 4th fastest.

Buitenhuis on the other hand can’t seem to take advantage of the pace and ends up down in 11th.

It’s 3rd fastest for the Alpha of O’Neill.

Rodriguez ends his lap, and ends up being 15th fastest.

It’s not looking so great here today for Demon, as McCarthy goes 20th fastest and takes the wooden spoon from his teammate.

14th fastest so far for Parachki.

Warrington ends his lap and finds himself inside the top 10.

Onto the final runs now for group 1 as Bouchard comes out first.

Elleker sets a brilliant time to retake the provisional pole.

Scala and Beggani both improve on their previous time.

Only three improvements from group 1. Will we see more improvements from group 2 though as De Bruyker comes out first.

Buitenhuis improves on his previous time, but is only able to move up a single position.

It’s a jump of 5 positions for Warrington with his improvement.

Rodriguez also manages to improve on his previous time, but doesn’t move up and positions.

All runs are now completed, so here are the final standings.

That’s it for qualifying. Congratulations Jack Elleker and AMR, our pole sitter for Rd 5. Be sure to join us again next time when we bring you the race coverage, so until then it’s goodbye from Donington.

Not too bad, very close to the top half of the field...should be a decent collection of points if it goes fine in the race.

Kimi forever!

Oh goodness... the non-boosting gamble didn't work for qualy. However, there's one more chance for the great equalizer to show up.

2nd row in 4th place. Good qualifying for me but a bad one for Toby getting 20th place.

Hoping for a good points scoring race.

Very happy with qualifying. Could be a nice haul of points if we can keep this pace during the race.
