GPGSL Rd 5 European GP – Testers Free PracticeHello and welcome to Donington, the venue for Rd 5 of the GPGSL. Up first for the weekend we have the testers free practice, who may potentially have to deal with some wet weather here today. Who will emerge as the fastest? We’ll know for sure within 30 minutes.
Weather ReportIt is AMR boss Ingers who is the first one out for group 1.
Ingers comes across the line and sets the first provisional fastest time.
His time is able to hold off fellow team bosses Sheppard and McGregor.
Sakata and Copeman go faster and makes it a Christel 1-2.
It’s a terrible time for Michail.
6th for Maverick who looks to have avoided having his time affected by the cars behind him.
Elleker, De Los Rios, series returnee Ancevski and Moinet all manage to complete their laps without too much holdup between them.
Wright comes out first for group 2. He’ll be looking to hopefully make an impression here today in his first session.
He puts in a pretty impressive time to go 6th fastest.
Tyrant boss O’Brien comes across the line and just misses out on taking the fastest time.
Hollidge completes his lap and puts himself inside the top 5.

There’s barely anything in it as Stoddart sets his time to go 6th fastest.
Into the top 3 Cronin goes after completing his lap.

Ingers is out first again for group 1.
It’s a beauty of a lap from Ingers who takes the fastest time back.
Michail improves and improves up into the top 10.
It’s an improvement for McGregor who puts his MAC into 2nd.
It doesn’t last for long though as Elleker improves and goes quicker.
Another big improvement, this time for Maverick.
De Los Rios improves, but is only able to move up a few positions.
It’s the same situation for Ancevski.
Moinet finds himself inside the top 10 after improving on his previous time.
As does Copeman.
Another impressive time from Wright which puts him inside the top 10.
Out come Cronin first this time for group 2.
A brilliant lap from the MMM boss! It puts him into the fastest time by just under .2s.
However, it is O’Brien who manages to demote him back to 2nd with an even more impressive time.
Stoddart improves up to 2nd, making it team bosses holding down positions 1 through 4.
