You may want to double check the perfs. Tyrant are suppose to have #35 and #36 for the testers.

Ooooooh, nearly time for the Aussie GP here in my hometown of Melbourne. Currently though we are in a Covid lockdown, so hopefully the GPGSL has an exemption to proceed

Round 1 - Australian GP - Melbourne

Free Practice

After a few months of break, during which the whole paddock could take some well deserved holidays, the action is back again. Unlike other major sport events in Australia, which had to be cancelled due to Covid19 restrictions, the GPGSL could get an exception permit to hold their race. This came to no big surprise, as the GPGSL season opener in Melbourne is the most prestigious of them all by far. However as with so many events these days, no spectators are allowed. To make up for it, the officials decided to put up plenty of 2D figures on the stands.

Before the session went underway, a moment of silence was held for Marcus de Bruyker's late wife Nadia, who had passed away late June. Rest in peace Nadia.

First car on the track is the Alpha of Kederer, who sets the benchmark at 1:30

Copeman can't quite match that time

Moinet comes close

Gilson too within a tenth

McGregor's time good enough for 4th

Michail, who joined the ranks of team owner with her Mist Racing Team, misses only 5 thousandths

Sakata in 4th, it's quite close at the top at the moment

Well forget that, Ingers beats the previous best by a mile

Pedersen in 2nd, but a fair bit behind Ingers' time

Elleker in 3rd, it seems that AMR could make some big steps over the offseason

Maverick in 2nd

Hollidge with the slowest set time so far, over 1 second behind

His boss O'Brien does better and takes 6th

2nd place for Cronin, underlining his ambitions to fight for the testers' title this season

Cremasco takes 5th place

Calligaris struggles a bit in the now Honda powered MAC, only 14th place

Vilela takes 12th

SCR boss Stoddart in 6th

And that's a new best time, set by Glen Sheppard

Szucs takes 3rd place

Savio down in 19th, not quite able to match the pace of his boss

Greenhalgh completes the first runs, 18th place for him

Sheppard currently in 1st place, but things are quite close between the top 4

Ingers kicks off the 2nd runs, but he fails to improve his previous time

Sakata, Maverick and Elleker all can't improve either

Michail with a minor improvement, but not good enough for points today

That went way better for McGregor now, from 17th up to 4th

Same goes for Copeman, who moves up to 5th place

Kederer improves to 9th

Pedersen, Moinet, Gilson, Cronin and O'Brien all can't improve

Hollidge can though, up to 7th

Calligaris finds 2 thousandths on track, which isn't enough to move up some places from 21st

Cremasco, Sheppard, Vilela, Greenhalgh and Stoddart all with no improvements

Savio with a better lap this time, but with the times as close as they are it's only good enough for 18th

Szucs the last driver on track, he remains in 3rd

And that's it for the free practice session, Glen Sheppard was the fastest man on track today. Join us again for the qualifying!

5th and 9th by Christel boys at the start of the weekend. I like it, and we're only getting started...
Also good luck Dom starting a new chapter of his career at the MAC Racing. Hope he will win a race or two of those that I will spare from winning by myself(H)

That’s a great start to the season. Let’s see that carry over into qualifying now.

GPGSL - Christel VXR team Boss S6-S8, S12 Onwards

Pity I didn't quite get it together for the 2nd stint. It looks like the track provided the chance for some serious improvement. But the main thing is that the big boys get it together.

BTW, it's 'Anderson' not 'Andreson' Savio.

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
Let’s hope Mist will do better in qualifying

Hope to say the same at the race day. ;)

Fixed for the next race, thanks & sorry

Pretty decent start to the weekend for us. Hopefully it'll go a bit better in the qualifying.

Oh, nice.

Christel VXR driver #6.

It is a poor start to the season 10th and 21st. Hopefully the race will yield better results.
