What a nightmare Michael has had in Monza, first a mistake and an engine failure. Bad news for his championship lead. Kimi managed to finish 2nd after an error in the last corner.

Jordan

Heikki impressed once again to score 7th for Jordan. Nico hasn't had a smooth lengthy drive today but finished well inside top 10. Not a bad day so far, but it could've been worse.

Wow, what a race, fantastic from both drivers to pick up some big points in our best result of the season!

Nice points finish by Christian, but we need to show even more to have a chance at beating Jordan and BAR in the Constructors.

BAR

Unfortunately some decisions were made in that race meaning one of our strategists; Rolf Sprungl, has left the team with immediate effect, he made the call on Villenueve, the extra pit stop cost us 4th or even a potential podium. Superb driving from JV, excited to have him with us next year and he keeps showing us why we made the right decision.

Dixon has had such a good rookie season, some real flashes of his talent, but when he should also have been in the top 6, 2 errors dropping him to 10th has really cost us in the fight for 6th.
Toyota

A great podium for Jenson but poor from Felipe.

Ferrari

Really close between Ferrari and Williams, but the race will be crucial

Arrows

We are behind by a significant amount, we pray for multiple retirements tomorrow

Same old qualifying session - we are being hampered with Piquet being so far off Alonsos pace in practice.

The last pre season test has really helped the team move forward, another top 10 for JV in qualifying and Dixon not far behind is a great start.

We’ll be hoping for a dry day and no errors to capitalise on this opportunity

Its also great to see Sato running so well, we’re excited to have him leading the line up next year

A good qualifying. We expect Ferraris to be a threat from behind. It could be an interesting race ahead.

Jordan

Wasn't the way we expected to have in qualifying. We'll see how the race will pan out for both Nico and Heikki.
2005 Belgian Grand Prix

Yesterday's qualifying session saw championship leader Michael Schumacher take pole. Will he suffer the same fate as in Italy or can he extend his lead? Let's find out.

Lap 44/44

It's lights out and away we go.

Takuma Sato takes the lead.

Montoya has dropped to 5th behind Massa and Alonso.

Lap 43/44

A look at the order after the opening lap.

Kovalainen runs wide and spins. He drops to the back.

Lap 41/44

Raikkonen has made a mistake and spun. He drops to 21st.

Kovalainen takes an erm....interesting racing line.

Lap 40/44

Webber passes Dixon for 12th.

A big accident for Kubica.

Lap 39/44

He's out of the race.

Button passes Villeneuve for 7th.

Alonso tries to pass Massa but can't get past.

That allows Montoya through.

Who then passes Massa.

Lap 38/44

Alonso passes Massa.

Massa then runs wide and drops to 10th.

Lap 36/44

De La Rosa dives down the inside of Massa. It's not been a great race for the Brazilian so far.

Lap 35/44

A look at the order with ten laps gone.

Schumacher is under real pressure from Montoya and Alonso.

Alonso, Trulli and Raikkonen pit.

Lap 34/44

Klien retires with a transmission problem.

Race leader Sato pits. He's followed in by Button, Rosberg and Maldonado.

Lap 33/44

Button passes Barrichello.

Villeneuve takes advantage and makes a pass on Barrichello too.

Dixon has a spin. He carries on in 12th.

It looks like Button has jumped Alonso in the pits.

Montoya, Villeneuve, Enge, De La Rosa, Castro-Neves and Vettel come in for their first stops.

Lap 32/44

Oh my! That's not looking good for our championship leader!

He's out of the race! Disaster for him.

Webber pits.

Lap 31/44

Dixon is the latest man to pit for the first time. Kovalainen also pits.

Lap 29/44

De La Rosa spins and drops to 18th.

Lap 28/44

That looks like the end of the race for Massa.

Yep, he's out.

Race leader Barrichello pits and comes out in 3rd. Pantano also pits.

Lap 27/44

A look at the order following the 1st pit stop phase.

Lap 26/44

Button makes a mistake.

But he shows superb skill to hold the car and not spin.

Lap 25/44

Raikkonen locks up.

Then pushes Kovalainen into the wall!

Kovalainen is lucky to escape with no damage.

Lap 22/44

Trulli runs wide and drops to 13th.

Lap 20/44

The order with 20 laps to go. Could today be the end of Ferrari's run of bad luck?

Lap 18/44

Raikkonen locks up again.

It's like a copy from earlier except it's De La Rosa instead of Kovalainen!!

Lap 16/44

Another engine up in flames!

Lap 15/44

This time it's Vettel's Minardi.

Lap 14/44

Button comes in for his second stop of the race. Kovalainen and De La Rosa also come in.

Lap 13/44

Montoya pits from 2nd. Alonso and Pantano are in too.

Lap 11/44

Scott Dixon pits from 10th.

Lap 10/44

Here's the order with 10 laps to go but some drivers still need to pit for a second time.

Lap 9/44

Rosberg is really holding up Alonso.

Race leader Sato stops for a second time. He comes out in 2nd. Enge and Castro-Neves also pit.

Lap 8/44

Alonso finally passes Rosberg.

Rosberg pits.

Lap 7/44

Villeneuve pits from 4th. Trulli, Raikkonen and Maldonado also pit.

Lap 5/44

Alonso passes Webber.

Montoya and Button pit for a third time. Webber also pits.

Lap 4/44

Meanwhile, Sato looks to pass Barrichello for the lead.

CONTACT!

Incredible! They are both off!!

Both drivers recover before Alonso in 3rd can arrive on the scene.

Here we go, round 2.

You've got to be kidding me! They've collided again!

Sato continues on in the lead but Barrichello will have to pit.

Lap 3/44

Barrichello pits!? That's an awful strategy from Renault!

Lap 2/44

Oh my! Alonso spins the Mclaren!!!!

Alonso drops to 7th.

Lap 1/44

Enge runs wide and drops places.

A big crash for Raikkonen, he's out of the race.

Lap 0/44

Takuma Sato wins the Belgian Grand Prix.

Juan-Pablo Montoya is 2nd.

Villeneuve completes the podium ahead of Alonso. What a race.

Fernando throwing away more points and had a real chance to close the gap right up to Michael. Webber needs to work on his qualifying pace, only getting points due to others misfortune.

Forza Ferrari! Finally a 1-2 finish, we just need more good races to close the gap to Williams. An exceptional effort by Sato and Montoya, although we will have to have a little chit chat with Sato about his crashes with Barrichello.

Arrows

A bad day for Robert, hopefully he’s okay. We welcome Anthony and Kamui aboard the team, we hope they can bring the team to points finishes. Gavin is also a great addition, his expertise will surely help in our effort to be a midfield team.

What a dreadful day for the team. A race to forget surely of what just happened to Kimi and Michael. Disaster.

Jordan

Looks like we had a good race somehow. Though no points for us but Nico had a smooth one and Heikki messed up a bit. We're doing quite well and hopefully to continue that for the rest of the season.

Sato is and always will be a idiot, the stewards must be blind, it's the only option

Toyota

A shame to see Massa DNF but happy with Jenson's result. We need a big push to retain 3rd with Mclaren looking strong

By far one of our best qualifying sessions with the BMW engine - just need the drivers to keep it on the black stuff this week

Sato is in a really delicate situation, being sandwiched by both Williams cars and also being down the order. We hope we have a clean race tomorrow.

Arrows

We expect heavy rain tomorrow, so we hope we can capitalise on it (if it happens).
