Montoya is finally starting to pick up pace again. Promising result for him provided he doesn’t do any rookie mistakes.
Sato has surprised us, not a position he would like to start in normally.

Qualifying pace for us was probably worse. We really lacked the pace very heavily indeed and we could have a damage limitation ahead in the race. Fingers crossed for a good race.
2005 French Grand Prix

Ferrari's Juan-Pablo Montoya took pole position yesterday with his best performance of the season but can he take his first win of the season? Let's find out.

Lap 70/70

It's lights out and away we go.

Montoya retains the lead but Kimi Raikkonen is up to 2nd with Barrichello dropping to 3rd.

Lap 69/70

A look at the order after lap 1.

A huge accident for Lotterer. He's out of the race.

Lap 67/70

Raikkonen is sticking to the back of Montoya.

Lap 66/70

Massa looks to overtake Barrichello but he can't get through.

Lap 64/70

Massa runs wide and drops a few places to 7th.

Lap 63/70

Massa is off again, he drops to the back.

In an unrelated incident, Trulli runs wide, hits a bump and damages his car.

He's out of the race.

That's unlucky for Dixon. He's hit some of Trulli's debris and will need to pit.

Lap 62/70

Blimey! They're all at it. This time it's Alonso who spins off.

Lap 61/70

Raikkonen is still stuck behind Montoya. This isn't a great track for overtaking.

Lap 60/70

WOAAAAH! Montoya makes a mistake and is off the track!

He drops to 12th.

Lap 59/70

Rosberg becomes the latest man to have an off.

Lap 56/70

Race leader Raikkonen has a problem!

He's out with suspension failure.

Lap 55/70

A good time to take a look at the top 8?

Lap 54/70

Senna is holding up Alonso as the Spaniard looks to fight back. Where will Alonso be able to overtake?

Lap 52/70

Alonso spins off again. A result of frustration?

Lap 48/70

Villeneuve pits to start the first round of scheduled stops. Alonso also pits.

Lap 47/70

Sato has an issue.

Suspension failure ends his race.

Schumacher, Button, Klien, Vettel, Rosberg and Montoya pit.

Lap 46/70

Rubens Barrichello pits from the lead. Kovalainen, Maldonado and Senna also pit.

Lap 45/70

Klien has jumped Button it the pits.

Webber, De La Rosa, Dixon, Castro-Neves, Kubica and Massa make their stops.

Lap 42/70

Michael Schumacher passes Barrichello for the lead.

Here's the top 8 with the first round of stops complete.

Lap 38/70

Montoya passes Villeneuve for 8th.

Lap 37/70

Villeneuve drops another place as Kubica takes 9th.

Lap 35/70

Castro-Neves is slowing!

Disaster for him, an electrical problem has ended his hopes of a podium.

Lap 27/70

The driver of the day so far has to be Christian Klien. Can he finish on the podium?

Lap 25/70

Michael Schumacher pits from the lead. Senna and Rosberg also pit.

Lap 24/70

Button and Montoya are the next men to stop.

Lap 23/70

Klien, Webber, Villeneuve, Kovalainen, Maldonado and Massa pit.

Lap 22/70

Barrichello pits from the lead and rejoins in 2nd. De La Rosa and Kubica also make their stops.

Lap 21/70

Vettel, Alonso and Dixon pit.

Lap 19/70

The top 8 with the stops completed.

Lap 18/70

Maldonado spins off.

Lap 17/70

Castro-Neves pits and comes out in 10th. Kubica could be on for a valuable point for the Arrows team.

Lap 10/70

10 laps left, can Klien hold off Webber to claim a podium?

Lap 5/70

Alonso spins off again. Not a great race for him today.

Lap 0/70

Michael Schumacher wins the French Grand Prix.

Rubens Barrichello is 2nd.

Christian Klien finishes an excellent 3rd.

An excellent performance from Michael! He really made an outstanding drive to secure victory at the end. Sadly his teammate Kimi, had a suspension failure which it wasn't pleasant to watch. A mixed day to sum up.

Jordan

Not as much of a surprise from our drivers could've done so far. Another error from Nico which proved costly, and Heikki did everything but to finish P12. We really need to show some pace in next races.

We remain confident that with JV in 12th, providing the race stays dry points could be on the menu.
Disappointed in Scott, hes not driving on instinct right now and its really hurting our result. Maybe a year or 2 back in US with Honda will help him
Toyota

A positive result. Hopefully a hatfull of points to follow.

Incredible job from Christian at Magny-Cours, never expected a podium this season but we got it!
Anyway it won't be too long before we start signing drivers for 2006.

A very great qualifying for Kimi who puts his car on pole at Britain. Michael with a good quali result to start P5 for the race. Hopefully we score some important points ahead.

Jordan

It's P14 and P18 for both Nico and Heikki in qualifying. Nothing much to describe it at the moment. Hope we try our best to get some good results in the race.
2005 British Grand Prix

Lap 33/60

Villeneuve pits.

Lap 32/60

Lap 30/60

Current leader Barrichello pits and rejoins in 8th.

Lap 27/60

Lotterer pits from 2nd, coming out in 9th. Dixon also pits.

Lap 26/60

Here's the current top 8.

Lap 24/60

Klien, Kubica, Vettel and Kovalainen are in for their stops.

Lap 5/60

Sato passes Barrichello for the lead. Is the Brazilian going to pit for a second time or is he making a 1 stop work?

Lap 3/60

Schumacher is all over Barrichello, can he hold him off on dead tyres?

No he can't.

Lap 1/60

Good to see Fernando back in the points, still all to play for in the drivers standings.

Regarding 2006, we look forward to welcoming Juan Pablo, Robert & Heikki to the team, and believe we have a strong lineup for next season.

Williams

Good day in the office for Michael who didn't manage to try and hold Ferrari in the start, taking P2. A tough race for Kimi after a collision from Ferrari but did recover to score a lone point in the end.
We're holding quite good in the standings but still quite a work to do ahead.

In other news, Michael will be sadly leaving Williams to join Red Bull.

Jordan

A disastrous race that could well be a race to forget for Jordan. Engine problem and a collision really summed up a huge mess for Jordan. Not a great news really and we need to get back stronger.
