Toyota
Disappointing to see Hamilton crash out but a good result for Felipe. The form of Alonso is a worry in the fight for 3rd place but we're hoping the experience of Jenson will help us bridge the gap and we thank Lewis for being so understanding in regards to stepping back into the test driver seat. He will be back in the race seat eventually.

2005 Mid Season Test #1
The first mid-season test of the season in Austria saw 10 of the 11 teams decide to take part. Teams running the soft tyres or running race simulations made the most gains during the session. Kimi Raikkonen was the fastest on track as Williams solidified their status as the team to beat.
Webber joins Mclaren
The main talking point of the session though was the announcement from Mclaren that Mark Webber is to replace Timo Glock for the rest of the 2005 season.

Montoya is also capable of good results as shown last season, but for some reason, he dropped in performance this season. I think this is continuation of the second half of 2004, where we had multiple retirements and driver mistakes. Luck has to be considered as well.

Montoya is also capable of good results as shown last season, but for some reason, he dropped in performance this season. I think this is continuation of the second half of 2004, where we had multiple retirements and driver mistakes. Luck has to be considered as well.

Hello and welcome to the European Grand Prix. Yesterday Ferrari's Takuma Sato took pole, can he convert that into a race win? How will Jenson Button and Mark Webber do on their debuts for their new teams? Let's find out.

It's lights out and away we go.
Barrichello gets away like a rocket ship and takes the lead.
Sato fights back though and goes back ahead.
Meanwhile, Webber has jumped Button for 4th.
A good start for Massa, he's up to 7th.
Button dives down the inside of Webber to retake 4th.

Forza Ferrari! Great drive from Sato, nicely done. A win is all we wanted. Montoya on the other hand… A very amateurish performance. If he continues with his mistakes, he might need to look for another employer.
