Toyota

Disappointing for Felipe but at least Lewis was able to keep it on the road.

A double header this week

Jordan

P16 and P21 from both Nico and Vitaly is not quite ideal but we reckon it'll be tough to fight for points. We'll see how we fare at the race.

Having a good start will be an imperative. We hope for a great and eventful race

2005 Spanish Grand Prix

Yesterday's qualifying saw Williams secure a front-row lockout, can they convert that into a 1-2 finish here in Catalunya, or can anyone else take the fight to them? Let's find out.

Lap 66/66

It's lights out and away we go.

A great start for Sato! He's into 2nd.

Sato takes the lead!!

It's not been a good start for his teammate, Montoya has dropped to 6th.

Massa has a look at Barrichello but the Renault man defends the position well.

Lap 65/66

Raikkonen retakes the lead from Sato.

Hamilton passes Montoya for 6th as Kubica looks to pass De La Rosa.

A look at the running order after that opening lap.

Lap 64/66

Massa and Barrichello are still going at it, a superb battle.

Lap 63/66

Massa finally gets past Barrichello and now Hamilton is looking interested in the fight.

Down the order, Alonso has passed Klien for 10th.

A mistake and spin from Petrov drops him to the back.

Lap 62/66

Hamilton dives down the inside of Barrichello for P5.

Lap 61/66

Villeneuve isn't having the best of times. He's been passed by a few cars and is now 15th.

Now he runs wide and drops to 19th.

Whilst we were watching that, it looks like Montoya has passed Barrichello.

A great move from Alonso to pass Kubica for 9th.

Lap 60/66

Villeneuve is off again.

Petrov goes off at the same corner!

Lap 58/66

Klien spins off whilst under pressure from Castro-Neves. He rejoins in 20th.

It looks like Hamilton has issues.

He's out with a water leak.

Lap 57/66

Meanwhile, Alonso has passed De La Rosa for what is now P7.

Lap 56/66

Glock becomes the latest man to pass Kubica, this time it's for 11th.

Lap 55/66

Davidson passes his teammate for 8th.

Lap 54/66

A mistake from Schumacher!! He drops to 18th.

Rosberg passes De La Rosa.

Lap 53/66

Now Glock passes De La Rosa. The Jaguar man is dropping down the order fast.

Lap 51/66

Another trip into the gravel for Villeneuve.

Lap 46/66

A look at the current running order.

Lap 43/66

We could have a long-overdue battle on track soon, Massa is closing in on Sato.

Lap 41/66

Michael Schumacher has passed Lotterer for 15th as he looks to climb his way back through the field.

Lap 39/66

Felipe Massa is the first driver to make a pitstop today, Dixon also pits.

A mistake from Castro-Neves sees him drop a place behind Vettel.

Lap 38/66

Race leader Kimi Raikkonen pits. Rosberg also pits.

Lap 36/66

Senna spins in the Minardi, he rejoins in 19th.

Maldonado makes his first stop.

Lap 34/66

Sato pits from the lead and comes out behind Felipe Massa!

Vettel, Montoya and Lotterer pit.

Lap 33/66

Glock, Castro-Neves, Senna and Petrov pit.

Lap 32/66

Barrichello, De La Rosa and Kubica pit.

Lap 31/66

Davidson, Schumacher and Klien make their stops.

Lap 30/66

Alonso pits from 2nd.

Lap 28/66

Villeneuve is the last man to make his first stop.

Lap 27/66

Here's the latest running order.

Schumacher is off again, he rejoins in 17th.

Lap 26/66

Alonso dives down the inside of Barrichello for 5th.

Lap 25/66

A mistake from Massa! He drops from 2nd to 5th.

Petrov has stopped, he's out with suspension failure.

Lap 24/66

Davidson looks to pass Rosberg for 7th but can't find a way through.

Lap 23/66

Montoya spins and now has Alonso right on his tail.

And the Spaniard passes him at the end of the pit straight.

Lap 20/66

Sato is out! A broken suspension ends his Spanish Grand Prix.

Lap 16/66

Kimi Raikkonen is dominating out in front. Only his race to lose from here.

Lap 15/66

A mistake from Montoya drops him to 4th.

Villeneuve, Klien and Maldonado pit.

Lap 14/66

Alonso pits and rejoins in 8th.

Lap 13/66

Davidson dives down the inside of Barrichello for 4th.

Rosberg pits.

Lap 12/66

Dixon and Vettel come in for their second stops.

Lap 11/66

Alonso passes his teammate for 6th.

Castro-Neves and Senna pit.

Lap 10/66

Another suspension failure, this time it's Michael Schumacher.

Lap 9/66

The top 3 (Raikkonen, Massa and Montoya) come in for their second stops.

Lap 8/66

Anthony Davidson pits from 2nd and rejoins in 7th.

Lap 7/66

Glock and Kubica pit.

Lap 5/66

The running order with 5 laps to go.

Lap 4/66

The Sauber's come together. A poor race for them and the team.

Lap 0/66

Kimi Raikkonen wins the Spanish Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso finishes 2nd in his home Grand Prix.

A superb 1 stop strategy sees Barrichello finish 3rd.

The less said the better, awful qualifying, awful race, we move on to the next round.

Jacques Villeneuve-Q14 - R17
Abysmal, truly abysmal, a strong opening lap saw him into 10th and then he kept dropping back. Was clearly in spain for a holiday as he seemed to want to spend the whole day on the sand. 2/10

Scott Dixon - Q19 - R10
The polar opposite, terrible quali, but kept his powder dry in the race and drove solidly into 10th. 6/10

Nico with another great result to finish P7, scoring yet some more points for Jordan. A nightmare for Vitaly with both spin and a suspension failure meant that he failed to make it unfortunately. Overall, it's been a mixed day for us.

Great drive from Alonso propells him back into the mix, great drive too from Timo to pick up another point.

Decent starting position for Fernando, looking to continue his points run. Timo looking to bounce back again after another poor qualifying.

Nico qualifies P12, not the best place to start but with tough overtaking opportunities in Monaco it'll be hard to fight this time. Another terrible qualifying from Vitaly, his qualifying performances are starting to decline.

So glad to see Rubens in 2nd place in the standings, we nailed by hiring him while no other team was interested, Hélio needs to improve his pace tho, we can’t have just one car all season long

Thanks for all of your responses regarding testing so far. I'll be running the session later today so the deadline for choice responses is midday GMT

2005 Monaco Grand Prix

Kimi Raikkonen made it a hat-trick of pole positions in qualifying yesterday but can the Finn make it two wins in a row? Can Montoya take his first win of the season? Let's find out.

Lap 78/78

It's lights out and away we go in Monaco.

Raikkonen retains the lead heading into the 1st corner, Alonso is up to 2nd, Sato 4th.

Lap 77/78

Here's the order after lap 1.

Lap 76/78

Sebastian Vettel is out, a puncture ends his race.

Lap 71/78

Not really much happening out there. Alonso is managing to stay with Raikkonen upfront.

Lap 65/78

Alonso is still hunting down Raikkonen. Pit stop strategy will be key today.

Lap 63/78

Montoya is really holding up Sato at the moment.

Lap 61/78

Castro-Neves has an engine issue.

He's out of the race.

Lap 55/78

Ferrari's Takuma Sato is the first man to pit, he's followed in by BAR's Dixon.

Lap 54/78

Alonso pits from 2nd, can he put in some fast times on fresh rubber to take 1st?

De La Rosa, Kubica and Petrov also pit.

Lap 53/78

Barrichello and Lotterer are in for their stops.

Lap 52/78

Schumacher pits from 3rd.

Lap 51/78

Schumacher has jumped Sato in the pits!

Lap 50/78

Massa is the next man to come in for his first stop. Rosberg, Villeneuve and Senna are also in.

Lap 49/78

A glorious stop for Toyota has put Massa ahead of both Schumacher and Sato.

Lap 48/78

Here we go, Raikkonen is in. Has Alonso done enough?

No, he hasn't!.

Montoya and Glock pit.

Lap 47/78

Hamilton, Maldonado, and Davidson make their first stops.

Lap 46/78

Klien pits to complete the first round of stops.

Lap 44/78

Time for a running order update.

Lap 35/78

Senna isn't doing a great job of getting out of the way when being lapped....that's about all that's happening right now.

Lap 34/78

Come on Bruno, get out the way! That's cost Alonso two seconds to Raikkonen!!

Lap 31/78

Now he's free of Senna, Alonso sets a new fastest lap. I imagine he's pretty fired up after losing so much time.

Lap 29/78

Raikkonen pits from the lead. Massa also pits from 4th.

Lap 27/78

Another fastest lap for Alonso, he's going for it.

Kubica in the wall! He's out.

Alonso pits at the end of the lap, it's a shame he couldn't go longer. Rosberg and Lotter also pit.

Lap 26/78

Oh wow! Alonso comes out just behind Raikkonen. He'll be cursing Senna even more now.

Dixon and Senna pit.

Lap 25/78

Schumacher pits.

Lap 24/78

Montoya pits from the lead. Glock and De La Rosa are also in.

Lap 22/78

Barrichello is the latest man to pit for a second time.

Lap 21/78

That's smoke coming out of the back of Petrov's Jordan.

He's out of the race.

Sato makes his second stop. He's followed in by Davidson and Maldonado.

Lap 20/78

Sato rejoins in 5th.

Hamilton, Klien and Villeneuve make their stops.

Lap 18/78

With the 2nd pitstop stage complete, here's the current order.

Lap 9/78

Montoya is catching the leading pair. At any other track, this would be exciting...

Lap 5/78

Disaster for Hamilton! He's put his Toyota in the wall and is out of the race.

Lap 0/78

Kimi Raikkonen wins the Monaco Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso comes home in 2nd.

Juan-Pablo Montoya completes the podium.
