tyres rim colours

I have tried to change the colors of the rims via gp4 tweaker, but when I check something in the game, the colors are still the same as before? Strange.....

Are you using Hega's Pirelli 2021 or previous version?

If you are using 2021 version, check this:
1- Into the gp4tweak.ini file: RimsColors = 1 ; set to 1 to enable rims color tweak
2- into the rimscolors.ini file:
Ferrari, Haas, Red bull (silver) = #808080
Mclaren, Williams, Alpine, Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo (black) = #191919
Mercedes (black + turquoise outer edge) = #191919,#191919,#00a7a1,#191919
Alpha Tauri (white) = #ffffff

yes Pont, search for the section [RIMS_COLORS] and then amend for the relevant car (depending on which slot order you use). For example, I assume the Merc is car01 and car 02:

The issue is not related to this log or the tweak's configuration. You have to find this file, open it with the notepad and set rimcolors to 1.

I'm not using a CSM mod, I'm running GP4 tweaker from a seperate GP4 install. Do you mean that any option out of the tweaker GUI can't be enabled on a non-CSM game?

Gp4Tweaker must be installed into the main GP4 folder

I reinstalled and ran gp4tweaker in following directory; c/infogrames/grandprix4/gp4tweaker.
I still don;t have this map gp4tweakdata so unable to update for example rims etc....

you should not have a Gp4tweaker folder inside your main GP4 folder. look at the pictures I have posted above.

Into the archive: Extra/ Configuration template subfolder, you have got the gp4tweak_data folder with the configurable .ini files inside. You have to copy and paste this folder it into your main Grand Prix 4 folder.
gp4tweak.ini file must be into your main GP4 folder directly.
There is a readme file into the archive to activate gp4tweaker. Please, read it to be sure you did not miss something.

Then find out the gp4tweaker_v405_reloaded anywhere else and follow Excalibur's recommendation!

I found an old message about how to install gp4 tweaker....

2) Run GP4 tweaker, make sure that if you have multiple installs of GP4 it points to the right install (see also the readme file), make a change to one of the options and hit "apply" I changed option 22, headmovement because it's easy to check if it works You HAVE to do this to "activate" GP4tweaker. It doesnt matter which option you pick, you will/van disable it again in step 5.
3) Run GP4 from within GP4tweaker (button "run gp4"
4) Quit GP4, check the GP4 main folder to see if there's a file called "gp4tweak.txt", this is a log file from gp4tweaker. Open it and check if GP4tweaker has run.
5) Run GP4 tweaker again and disable the option you have enabled in step 2, quit GP4 tweaker
6) Run GP4 from GPxPatch and check if the headmovement is gone, quit GP4 and check the "gp4tweak.txt" file again
7) Download GP4tweak_PE.zip (date 27 june 2004) from here [gp4tweaker.vadertrophy.com]
8) Unzip the file and read the readme and follow the instruction to install it. You have to overwrite some files.
