Confused: Tracks not making it in game

Hi all,

I'm attempting to get the 1991 mod to work... to recreate the season when I got into formula 1.

I followed all the helps and readme I could find. I get all the graphics and so on from the mod - new menu, new loading screens, new car models, textures and helmets. etc.
But I just get the original game's tracks, but in the order of 1991 (so first race is at Indy, not at Phoenix), There seems to be no updates on tracks at all.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Have I installed things in the wrong order maybe (I don't think I can have done)

did you install the trackpack as well or just the csm mod?

If you mean the PLUS Trackpack, yes I did.

And then the 1991 Trackpack through TSM.
And then the 1991 Update 01 in both TSM and CSM.

I seem unable to get non-standard tracks.

did you select the trackset in csm?

Yes, anything I try there same result.... opening grand prix is at Indy.

Change the track loading method to all

Well... we maybe onto something... I don't get that option!!!

where do you have your mod from?

btw, your csm looks like you have enabled compatibility settings. disable that!

Where's that option? I did wonder why we looked different.

right click on the exe, then properties. if compatibility options are set, the icons are not shown

They aren't! - I just tried turning on compatibility for windows 8, and then turn it back off... no difference.

Where should I be finding .wad files? I can't seem to, and I am guessing this is a real problem, I have no wad files at all!
