About Performance Files HPs values

Hi all,
I noticed that all perforance files released in last years use the same qualy and Race HP values for all teams while in past (old times eh eh) different teams have different power values.
The question is: what's the reason of this change of philosophy that in fact makes drive a Williams the same as drive a Mercedes?


Old HP Philosophy

As far as i know its related with gpxpatch development (now driver values have/can have an effect on player car, not only car bhp)
Performance file makers believe that it is easier to tune AI that way (with 1 variable instad of 2), also car ai car setting in magic data are difficult to fine tune with variable bhp (ex. gears).

That is pf makers new philosohpy...you do not need to follow it strictly.
I also do not believe in the new philosophy for various reason

My GP4 Central mods use different BHP values based on real-world speed trap data.
