Since we'll have a test session after the Imola GP you can PM me now if you want to test. Remember you need to have at least 1M to test. Just put into the PM if you want to test power or reliability and which of your three drivers take part. The test session will be held on 30th of November.
Rumours go that Renault is looking to hire a French 2nd driver, next to Schumacher for next season.

I imagine it will be Panis, not a ton of choice with french drivers in 2004. Would be fun to see a frenchman at Renault, always had a soft spot for drivers in their "national" teams.

It was the third pole for Ferrari and Sato this season. Biggest surprise of the session was Ralf Schumacher getting the 3rd place.

A positive start to the weekend

Lap #47
Christian Klien, Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica pit.

Lap #48
Giancarlo Fisichella and Scott Dixon pit.

Lap #50
There has got to be a nervous guy in that Toyota car right now. Nothing but a mistake or a technical problem can take this win away.

Heikki Kovalainen retires with an engine problem.

Lap #52
Disaster for Antonio Pizzonia! He suffers a puncture and is forced to retire from a top 5 position with only 11 laps remaining.

Finish
Felipe Massa celebrates like a mad man as he crosses the finish line to bring Toyota it’s first victory in F1! There are hugs all around the garage.

Almost hoped for some points for Arrows with all the retirements
Double points! The Sauber garage is in joy :)

Nooooooooo! Why have this had to happen? Not interested in Franchiti spinning, but Sato?

A double podium and a race win, what a race! Get in there!

Nice to see Ferrari top the time sheets, it gives us hope we’ll win the WCC and Sato will be the champ.

Takuma Sato and Ferrari continued their dominance in the qualifying session. Meanwhile Kimi Räikkönen and Mark Webber had the exact same time for the third position on the grid. Antonio Pizzonia had a good qualifying session as he was fifth on the grid.

Dario Franchitti goes wide and Dan Wheldon is able to overtake him for the 9th place.

Now it’s Felipe Massa’s turn to spin as he hits Fernando Alonso while trying to overtake him. Alonso doesn’t suffer from this but Felipe Massa joins the track in the last place. Horrible start for Toyota after their best result ever in Imola.

Robert Kubica is the reason for the yellow flags as he retires with transmission problems.

Down the field Vitaly Petrov overtakes Nico Rosberg and is now 17th.

Lap #38
Takuma Sato makes an error and spins out onto the gravel. His lead is big enough that he doesn’t lose any places.

Nico Rosberg and Paul di Resta crash into eachother but both are able to continue the race.

Lap #51

Lap #55
Only another mistake or technical problem can deny Takuma Sato a victory today it seems.

Lap #57
Michael Schumacher is putting up the pressure on Kimi Räikkönen in the battle for the 2nd place.

Lap #60
Takuma Sato is driving around alone while there’s a fierce battle behind him for the remaining podium positions.

Lap #61
Fernando Alonso overtakes Jenson Button for the 9th place on the main straight.

Lap #63
Kimi Räikkönen, Michael Schumacher and Ralf Schumacher are very close to each other. Can any of them make an overtake?

Lap #65
Takuma Sato starts the final lap in the lead.

Finish
Takuma Sato is the first man to cross the finish line today! Aside from a couple of driver errors he was dominating this weekend with the win, pole position and the fastest lap!

There are no position changes behind him and so Kimi Räikkönen comes home in the second place. Michael Schumacher finally gets a podium this season after a disappointing start to the season.

We must say, over at BAR, we are really quite disappointed with Button's performance, while Dan Wheldon is working hard to score points in a difficult year...

For Arrows this is a build-up season, we want to see Kubica progress and prepare the future.
What a rubbish GP

Nice, first podium for der Michael.

He is happy with this, but much work needs to be done.

Christel VXR driver #6.

The gains from the mid-season testing surely are big, however we won’t be able to win the WCC with Franchiti as a second driver.

BREAKING! After a long time of speculation and rumours, Alexander Wurz will make his debut as a Ferrari driver in the next round at Monaco. The move was done to let Franchiti stay away from the pressure and criticism by the Tifosi and the fans in general. Ferrari will evaluate whether Wurz will stay as a Ferrari driver, or somebody else will be called in.

Not too great - off to the next one...
