Also avalaible at GP4 Central

I thank all the authors involved, especially Heikki who would not have been possible to realize this remastered, without the efforts that produced the last months!

For those who want, here you can find the old version of the mod: Old 2001 Mod thread

I just have to wish you a lot of fun ;-)

great Matteo, thank you very much!

I have just updated my 2001 event sound set to make it compatible with the new mod. here is the link.

just noted two issues in the mod:
- the HUD does't not work, even if it is enabled in the csm options (both the bar on top of the screen and the rev counter)
- the texture resolution of some tracks is very low with this mod (didn't happen with the old version). does it change the graphics settings in some way?
edit: it was my fault; i changed something in the f1graphics.cfg an forgot about it. problem solved.

I had the same problems with the hud and the bar on the top. Don't work for me.

Then I don't know. I repeat, everything works correctly for me.
It may perhaps depend on the screen resolution. I GP4 run it at 1920 x 1080, 16/9.

@Carl and @MiSery, at what resolution do you run it?

@MiSeRy: Didn't you ask the same question in the 2001 Mod v2.21 thread (and got the answer)?

MiSeRy: Yes i got the answer, but it doesn't work.

I see. That answer wasn't correct. Then try this:
Open the mods "Data\Files\Merge\gpxcinfo.ini", change its content to
[Panel]
Enable1	=1
Path1=%haze%.ini
Enable2	=1
Path2=%defpanel%.ini
Enable3	=1
Path3=%pitboard%.ini
Enable4	=1
Path4=%revcounter%_18a.ini
Enable5	=1
Path5=%revcounter%_18b.ini
and save it.

Thank you Petrus, now it works!

@Matteo: My resolution is 3440 x 1440. The only thing not working now is the pitboard (the text is in the center of the screen while the board is on the right side), but i might fix that myself.

@Peter: Thanks for the fix!

@Carl: Yes I know. These pitboards are made for the 4:3 format. I don't see them correctly either with 1080p resolution.

I reuploaded the mod with the HUD fix by petrus!
Just download "F1 2001.cuh". It is not necessary to download the other parts.

It should be all right, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you. Now it works.

Very strange, in the 1994 mod, it seems to scale them automatically, even with my ultra-wide screen:
