Why can't i see buildings in my mirrors?

Please forgive me if this has been asked and answered, but I've try everything I can think off to fix this and I'm out of ideas.
Almost everything in the [Mirror View] in the graphics is turned on and still nothing. I did notice that in some mods you can see them in the mirrors and others not.
Anyway, I'm hoping someone may have the answer.

do you have this lines set in your f1graphics.cfg like below?

1 ; Enable mirrors

2 ; Enable external view mirrors (0 0ff, 1 onboard, 2 all external views) v2

Yes I do have them on. The mod it happens on is (FSOne.2009 Mod.by.RSCT.Modding.Group). The rest seem to be ok.

this mod has its own f1graphics.cfg. you must edit this one, it's here: ...\GPSAVES\Carsets\F1 2009\Data\F1graphics

The 2009 FSOne Mod has it's own f1graphics.cfg files (4 of them) in the resolution subfolders of "Data\f1graphics".
In these files set

1			; [MIRROR VIEW] Draw near buildings v2

As an alternative you could also use your own f1graphics.cfg by disabling the file swap in "Settings\RSCTswap.ini":

;File21		=f1graphics\%resolution%\f1graphics.cfg,f1graphics.cfg
