GPGSL S14 - R14 British GP - Silverstone

Bad race for us.. feel sorry for Vitor, he didn't even get a decent chance this race:(

This could have been sort of a perfect week-end if Paulo hadn't been booted off track. Long time it didn't happen so won't complain too much, but maybe it's time to have a discussion with our sponsor LUCKY to have a budget that covers the whole season, including the last four races, for forthcoming season.

Strong drive by Daly and a well deserved 2nd place in the rankings. Just saying.

Yes, but what I meant was saying another good result which is having another Top 5 finish. I didn't say it was my highest result so I'm fine with it.

Yh ik that, I was just pointing it out. Shows how consistency matters as much as victories in the GPGSL

Russel Stays at Christel

As it's announcement season this is just a quick one to say that Luke Russel will be staying at the team for next season. Its been a really hard season for the team but Luke has stayed consistent throughout and scored as many points as possible.

We are hoping to make an announcement about our second seat very soon.

JAPANESE GPGSL TEAM SOON TO BE ANNOUNCED?

"There are rumours coming from Japan that an effort is being made to set up a GPGSL team under the banner of Yakuza Ltd or Co. in cooperation with Honda. It is said that current Japanese GPGSL driver Ryouichi Sakata is going to be named as teamboss/testdriver or just as teamboss should he decide to retire from racing after two seasons with the English Christel Vauxhall team. The engines may be a developed version of the Honda engine currently in use by Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri in the lower division of Formula 1. Honda is leaving F1 at the end of the 2021 season.

If the team joins the GPGSL league, it will be the first Asian team to do so.

Honda's spokesman issued a brief statement; "We are interested in branching out into other racing series after leaving Formula 1. We have had great successes in Formula 1 with legendary drivers such as Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet, Max Verstappen and a Spanish driver whose name currently eludes me. We are positive that the GPGSL racing league contributes to development of everyday's technology and provides the excitement of racing. But we can not confirm or deny our involvement yet."

More announcements are expected to be released soon."

Hopefully our 3rd season together will be a good one!

Technically Australia is classed as Asia now so you will be the 7th Asian team to join the GPGSL

On the waiting list?

Sorry for being so absent, but homeschooling was really keeping me on my toes in the past weeks.

In short, very happy with Carlos' 2nd, gutted about Matteo's DNF. Carlos told the story of the team, we can't get both cars in good positions this season.

Also very happy with my own performance and a pity that Anderson missed the points for one position.

Alpha Motorsports Season 15 Announcement

Alpha Motorsports has announced today that its current line-up of Tobias Kederer and Sean O'Neill will continue with the team next season. The combination have shared a win apiece in Season 14 to date.

After a disappointing season following the heights of Season 13, the team is said to be still in negotiations with engine supplier Renault regarding a deal for Season 15 and beyond.
