Merely a typo. There I was thinking that drivers usually had the good manners to ask to be released from their current contract before moving to another team. Perhaps I got that wrong. You are free to go, and I'll be moving John to the race seat.

I thought the contract was only for this year, so I didn’t feel obliged to discuss much about my future plans with you. Mistake on my end and I apologise for any inconveniences that might have happened. Will keep in mind for next time.
