Yeah, was messing with the ReShade tool, but the effects will be disabled for the race, since the reply length is only 1min long when I'm using the tool for some reason.

Yes. And I've explained why. I had this issue with the S12 mod as well, it's just my system doesn't support the unusual foreign letters - I have folders named as 'Carlos Rodrбguez' and 'Nat╞ Cremasco' and that's why their helmets doesn't show in the game. Replacing default Jenson Button helmet textures in the original cars.wad fixes the issue with Carlos' helm. Everything's fine

I too get the same issue as you, re the Cremasco/Rodriguez helmets. I just ensure the helmet folder name matches any other reference to the driver name in any other ini file name entry, and it then works fine.... but the spelling in plain English

De Bruyker is absolutely dominating so far, unsuprisingly.

That was close of a 1st row locked until Markus set down his lap with a rocket. Stellar job mate, and good drive from the Mistral's boys. That will be an interesting race again.

GPGPSL Season 14 Round 6 - Race, Emmeloord.

Greetings everyone! Here we are at Emmeloord for the final time this season anticipating for a race. GPGSL Dutch Grand Prix was held eleven times, missing the entry only twice (for S1 and S8). Only two drivers starting the race today have a win on their resumes for this event in the past - Carlos Rodriguez did this several seasons ago when the race was held in Zandvoord and Paulo Silva who have won on the Emmeloord Circut just a year ago. The current championship leader Marcus De Bruyker is on the pole today with two Mistrals taking start straight behind him. Weather conditions are almost perfect - we have reports of some kind of a very light rain coming somewhere about the middle of the race for a short ammount of time, but it should not affect anything.

The cars are all lined up and ready to go. We have 32 laps of action awaiting...

Lights are out and they're off!

Good start for De Bruyker who maintained the lead...

First turn and it is De Bruyker, Silva, Scala and Gustavo:

It is turn two and we have a car getting airborne! It is some of the midfielders...

It is Ryo Sakata with a nasty crash into the barriers...

Looks like Vilela and Majumdar are also involved though it is very uneasy to say what has happened to them...

We don't have too much time to spend on that because we have a new leader already! It's Paulo Silva:

De Bruyker wants it back! It is a risky move at the entry of the last corner:

No success and Scala uses a better line to get himself into second place:

And the Italian driver immediately challenges for the lead...

And he did it! De Bruyker takes the inside line into the first corner...

But he can't pass Silva and stays in third:

Marshalls are still waving flags after the heavy crash of Sakata in the turn two:

And we have Rodriguez, who overtakes Ennis Parachki for P10:

On the main straight De Bruyker overtakes Silva:

At the back of the field four cars approaching the first corner at the same time and it might be too much for that place...

They're three-wide at the entry...

And Elleker flips!

He got sandwiched between his teammate Chris Hinz and the Aphla of O'Neil...

His race is over, and his teammate lost both front and rear wings during the contact... A real disaster for Aston Martin!

Meanwhile De Bryuker gets himself ahead of Scala at the turn 5. It was a pass for the lead:

Paulo Silva is looking to attack Scala for the second place:

But it seems like with this move he faces too much drag while Vitor Gustavo uses the slip-stream by the car in front:

MMM driver takes third place and behind them McClure overtakes Pedersen:

Now Silva wants to regain his position from Gustavo:

He is all over the place, while behind them we see yet another battle going on between McClure and the MACs:

Seems like McClure is losing it to Greidanus:

But he has all the straight to regain the position:

Three cars approaching the first corner and we've seen how dangerous it can be:

But they have managed to keep it all clean with McClure turning out as the winner of the battle:

Tobias Kederer fights for a P10 already, and he was starting from the last row today! Brilliant drive so far:

Paulo Silva manages to find the right spot for an overtaking manoeuvre at the turn 5:

Greidanus did exactly the same on McClure just a few yards behind:

Now five cars are close and they're battling with each other:

Gustavo tries to re-take the third place from Silva on the straight:

And he did it:

Behind them Pedersen sets up a move on his teammate:

...and manages to get ahead:

McClure is also getting ahead of Greidanus:

...and Williams too! Three places lost for Dutchman within one straight:

Silva again overtakes Gustavo at the turn 5:

Greidanus tries to do the same on Williams:

He has a better line into the final corner:

And that allows McCarthy to get ahead of the Atlantic driver as well:

...but Williams counters in the first corner:

...and now it is McCarthy who suffers from being on the wrong side of the track - he's got passed by Rodriguez:

Reply shows that while we were watching this Gustavo overtook Silva on the straight again:

With so many action happened already let's have a look at the current standings and take a break:

You might also want to take a look at the slow-motion onboard replay of the two major accidents we had so far:
Lap 1 accident
Lap 3 AMR disaster

Stay tuned and see you soon, folks!

Halo? No way pls! :-O Those ugly parts already ruined F1 and Indy for me, only GPGSL remaining the true open wheel series by now.

PS. I hope Elleker's neck is fine!

Definitely the worst crash of my GPGSL career

GPGPSL Season 14 Round 6 - Race, Emmeloord. Part 2

Back into action at the Emmeloord Circuit as the leaders begun their lap 8. Gustavo and Silva are side-by-side on the straight:

Brazilian driver manages to stay ahead for now:

We have a Demon car of Rodrigo Vilela coming on the grass at the final corner:

Transmission failure is the reason of retirement. His race was ruined by the clash with Sakata on the opening lap anyway:

While Paulo Silva overtakes Gustavo at the turn 5 again. It is the third time when he does this move on MMM driver at this corner today:

But Gustavo replies with a move on the straight. For the third time as well today:

Behind them we see the battle between Pedersen and McClure and Greidanus, who's got caught by Williams and Rodriguez:

Seems like McClure can't get enough speed, but Williams is definitely faster than Greidanus:

Rodriguez tries his luck too as they coming to the first corner side-by-side...

Can they make it?:

Yes, and Rodriguez manages to get ahead of Greidanus:

Well, you see this right - it's Paulo Silva overtakes Vitor Gustavo at the turn 5 AGAIN:

Pedersen got passed by McClure at the same spot. Seems like the Mistral vehicles are set up for this exact corner, but lacks the speed at the straight:

If your guess was that Gustavo would overtake Silva on the straight again - it was a right one, as he does exacly that:

And Pedersen overtakes McClure on the straight as well:

Behind them Sean O'Neill manages to get ahead of Buitenhuis for P12:

Gustavo and Silva are coming to the turn 5 again:

How many times we will see this until the pit window?

But what a surprise - Gustavo retakes the position on the straigt! Haha, that's awesome - I've never seen anything like that before in my life:

Meanwhile Greidanus manages to overtake Edward Williams for P7 at the turn 1:

And at the end of the lap the Atlantic car slows down on the straight!

...while we see that Kederer moves ahead of Rodriguez at the first turn:

It was a double mechanical problem for with both transmission and suspension for Williams... He's out of the race:

It is almost time for the pit-stops, and here's the current standings:

You might have noticed Silva getting ahead of Gustavo at the 5th turn on the standings screen, but it is no problem for Brazilian as he manages to retake the spot at the end of the straight again:

Silva was unable to move ahead at the turn 5 and decided to stop:

Kederer stops too and it might be the answer for his good pace previously. Seems like he simply had less fuel onboard for that stage of the race:

Buitenhuis gains one spot at the turn 5 as he overtook McCarthy:

Greidanus with a move on McClure on the straight:

...but he has not enough power and stays behind:

Gareth McCarthy and Luke Russel are battling for position on the straight:

And they're both coming for the pits:

Their pit-stops were identical, but McCarthy had to wait for Russel to go. O'Neill has also stopped behind them:

Lap 16 and it is time to stop for both Silva and Gustavo, who were running second and third:

While Greidanus goes for attack on McClure at the turn 1:

Daly gives him a plenty of space and goes very wide at the exit. Seems like he wanted to avoid the contact at any cost:

And he is already far away behind at the second corner:

Jeroen Buitenhuis overtakes Ennis Parachki at the 5th corner:

De Bryurker started the 17th lap and Greidanus, Rodriguez and Buitenhuis are coming to stop:

Karda went in as well:

Greidanus leaves the pit-lane and look who's far ahead in the distance - it is the yellow Alpha of Tobias Kederer!

It seems like the early stop tactics works incredibly good for some reason and De Bryuker immediately goes into the pits:

Pedersen and Parachki also went in, but it is more interesting if Scala can take the lead, as he has stopped two laps ago and the gap was very small:

And he goes by as the Tyrant of De Bryuker accelerates from the pits:

Matteo Scala has got ahead of Marcus De Bryuker and he is a potential winner of the race currently, as the cars in front needs to pit in as well:

Here's the current top 10 and we're going to take our final break today:

The ending part of the coverage will follow soonish, so stay tuned!

Looks like a tough race for me after the 1st lap incident but kudos to De Bruyker for a very good race so far. Fingers crossed for a Tyrant win!
