I think I have the password in my pms if it hasn't changed since I was rd for the race in Kyalamy two seasons ago. The qualy will be posted quite soon, but not so sure about the race since I have a busy friday. The race will be posted 'till the end of the week anyway.
Thanks for the approval (Y)

GPGPSL Season 14 Round 6 - Qualification, Emmeloord.

Welcome to the start of the qualification for the Dutch Grand Prix happening at the Emmeloord Circuit.
Last year it was Marcus De Bruyker who scored the pole at the wet track. Now the conditions are dry, so it might be a different story today.

Team Atlantic driver Edward Williams is the first man to go. His teammate Dominik Karda has confirmed a contract and stays for the coming season, but the rumours say that the team boss Michael Soutsen is unpleased with the perfomance of his second driver and looking for a better choise in the future...

Hinz, De Bryuker, Sakata, Vilela, Greidanus, Rodriguez, McClure, Buitenhuis, Silva and Gustavo are also went on track, while Williams sets the pace for the session:

Chris Hinz from AMR goes slower:

The current championship leader Marcus De Bryuker finds himself between them:

Not a good try for Sakata, he is slowest for now:

Rodrigo Vilela takes the second place:

Ruben Greidanus, who have build this wonderful track while taking a rest from racing some seasons ago, takes a provisional pole on his home soil:

Carlos Rodriguez with his errrmmm... special helmet? Looks like a Jenson Button tribute with a 'stylish' icy visor... but anyway he goes into the third place for now:

Daly McClure suddenly snatches the pole:

MMM of the Jeroen Buitenhuis crosses the line and it is P7 for the dutchman:

Paolo Silva, the winner of this event year ago, goes fastest! Looks like this track suits well to the Mistral vehicles:

Vitor Gustavo performs a good lap as well. He is currently 3rd:

Reamaining cars going out of the pits, but and there's some traffic for one of the Alpha's. It's Dominik Karda, who came out of the pits in a wrong time:

The lap is ruined for O'Neil from the start and he is dead last as the result:

While Ennis Parachki from SCR sets a decent lap. P6 for him:

Matteo Scala with his black MTP car goes 3rd fastest:

Pedersen is just 6 thousandths of a second slower:

A dreadful lap by the champion Kederer. Still, he has a try to improve:

Jack Elleker cannot find the pace despite the both driver and engine boost. His last podium was two seasons ago. What's happening with one of the best drivers of the past?

The Indian driver Aritra Majumdar is at the bottom of the field after his first try:

Two-time champion Joseph Gilson is only 14th for now:

Dominik Karda after the clash with O'Neil we saw earlier predictably sets the slowest time:

Gareth McCarthy who is clearly batteling for the championship crown this season manages to set the 7th best time:

And Luke Russell takes the 13th spot. And that was everyone's first try.

It's time for the second runs and Williams is unable to improve:

Ryo Sakata goes from 18th to 10th in his Lego car. Very good effort from the Japanese driver:

Gustavo crosses the line and he didn't improve, Paolo Silva too but he stays first:

Buitenhuis getting his lap right and it is a marginal improvement for him. P8 while being less than 2 tenths of a second slower than the current pole time:

Rodriguez and Hinz were unable to improve, McClure did, but he stays second:

Greidanus and Vilela also went slower than on their initial laps, but it looks like we can expect the battle for the pole with the lap of De Bruyker as he sets a very good sector one time:

He is absolutely fastest after sector two... Can he make it?:

Yes! We have a new pole-sitter here at Emmeloord!

Our cameras spotted that Ennis Parachki, who is on a flying lap, is getting held up by his teammate. That's some very bad timing from the SCR crew and it's very likely that their second attempts are ruined for the both cars:

The defending chamion Kederer improves his time, but not a position. Surely he will be massively dissapointed with the second title hopes slipping away:

His teammate Sean O'Neil scores his one and only clear lap after being held by Karda previously. 17th place only:

Matteo Scala faces the same problem - he's got stuck behind Luke Russel:

Majumdar slightly improves up to 18th:

No improvements from both Parachki and Scala, while Karda sets his final time. He improved a little but stays last:

Gilson did not improve his position, McCarthy improves up to 7th. By the way this is currently the best result from the non-boost assisted driver:

Elleker slightly improves his time, but stays where he was:

And the only remaining participant is Luke Russel, but he is also unable to improve:

This means that Marcus De Bruyker, who is having a great season with the two wins scored already, has repeated his last year's achievement on this track and won the pole position again:

Paulo Silva, the winner of this race year ago, will start the race from the second position, and his teammate Daly McClure will be starting third.

Here are the official results of the session:

Hope you enjoyed and see you soon!

Apologies to Carlos Rodriguez who got his helmet bugged, I noticed that only while posting the coverage, but I'll fix that up for the race.

As for our performance... Well, I hoped for a little more with the engine boost. Dom forgot to send his boost request and ended up being dead last... Hope that Edward can score some points with starting from 10th.

The helmet can't possibly be bugged if you use the mod properly, just saying...

Too bad we lost the Pole for such a little...

Congratulations to Marcus who was really strong today.

Very optimistic for the race with both cars on top 3.

Very good coverage.

It was very close quali. Shame for not getting that pole which was in our grasp, but 3rd is a promising result to start from there! :-)

It's because of usage of the unusual letter in his name (Rodríguez). My system does not support such letters. Same problem with Natã Cremasco, but he is a tester. I think I had the same problem when I was a RD for the last time in Kyalami, but I forgot about it. I'll just extract his helmet inside the standart cars.wad in the place of Jenson Button's as a quick workaround and it should work.

The boost did its job, shame I got held up in the second run, that also ruined Joseph’s lap. I expect another top 10 finish.

Wow... Paulo was very close again, hopefully not that close in the race, well already 1pnt in the bag for myself and the team.

Good coverage btw... very special photos, looks very real, did you use a filter?

So you're saying you just fired up the mod without changing anything, and this is what you got?
