Hopefully the performance file isn't affected by the amount of Ramen and Gyoza I eat whilst we're in Japan....

Round 2 - Japanese GP - Suzuka

After a 1 year break the GPGSL tross is back at Suzuka, last season marking the first time in history that there hasn't been a Japanese Grand Prix.

Maverick's the first to set a time

Easily topped by Hollidge

Returnee Beggani goes even faster

Soutsen first by a whisker

Only for a moment as Cremasco beats his time

Copeman not up to speed yet

Rookie Szucs can't match the pace of his boss

Michail in 6th

Reigning testers' champ McGregor quite far off pace

S4 Champion and Suzuka winner Matt Houston in 8th for now

Cronin in 6th concludes the first group

Cremasco currently topping the timesheets

First runner of the second group, Keranen immediately beats Cremasco's time

Savio looking to do a bit better than in the first round

O'Brien way off pace, as we can see smoke in his mirror. His engine has blown on the final meters of his lap

Greenhalgh snatches 3rd

Fellow Aussie Mal Stoddart just out of the points in 13th

Quickly beaten to it by another Aussie

Warrington shows the pace of the SCR, goes 4th fastest

Karda in 7th, while yellows are out as O'Brien has parked his car in the esses

Ingers now 7th

Calligaris in 15th

Russell as last driver of the 2nd group gets 9th

Keranen in 1st after everyone has set one flying lap

Soutsen with a minor improvement, remains in 5th

Cremasco, Copeman, Beggani, and Cronin all can't improve

McGregor up 5 places to 15th

Michail did better in her 2nd run, now in 7th place

Szucs goes a bit faster than in his first run, moving up 1 place

Hollidge quite a bit slower than in his previous run

Houston can improve, but not enough to move him into the points

Maverick finds 3 tenths, still only good enough for 17th though

The Alpha boys can't match their previous times

Stoddart goes up from 21st to 15th

No improvements for Karda and Ingers

Savio can best his teamboss, but overall the MTP still seem to lack pace

O'Brien in the T-car remains in last place

Calligaris moves up to 13th

Warrington remains in 4th place

Sheppard pretty much matching Houston's time

Russell with a minor improvement, but he remains in 10th

And that's it for the practice session, congratulations to Aidan Keranen, first timer topping the timesheets. Join us again soon for the qualifying!
