Sauber C20 out now. Based on the great work by Diego Noriega aka Öggo, Fred Gosling and Gezere.

fantastic, thanks a thousand times :) (Y)
Many thanks!

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
@Hega in my opinion, tyres are too wide.

Compare this video F1 German GP Hockenheim 2001 - Qualifying - Michael Schumacher Onboard Lap to Gp4 F1 2001 TV onboard.
Default Gp4 tyres dimension are right.

Even Marlboro logo is smaller.

Try to compare and let me know!

P.S. It is not a criticism! ;-)
IMO, we can`t compare it to any t-cam footage because it has a slight fish-eye effect on surrounds narrowing some stuff.
On 2002 i was at Interlagos GP paddock and remember the tires were VERY wide and Heikki model looks spot on...

Cheers
@TalkboxMusik You can compare a pic of real Ferrari F1 2001 to game, tyres are too wide (or compare new Hega tyres with default game) ;)
Constructive criticism is always welcome :)

There are 2 points about the tyres:

1) The tyre shape is not made by me, it is made by Enzojz and I didn't want to modify his work. But you can always open the tyre shape file in Gp4Builder and scale it down horizontally if you want.

2) I think back then the bridgestone tyres were narrow, and michelin tyres were wide:

But it is a limitation of GP4 that we can't use different shapes for bridgestone and michelin, only 1 shape for both. So it has to be a kind of a compromise between the two, and I think Enzojz shape is just that.
@Hega Thanks for your detailed answer! You're right! Bridgestone and Michelin have a different shape.

Which file do I edit to change width?

Thanks a lot (even for your works) :)
Don't know if it's the real deal [www.jomenvisst.de]

12.4 specifies front tyre width

Also agree that the Michelins appeared to be wider than the Bridgestones. Think that's also due to the tread appearing to be flatter, while the Bridgestones seem to be slightly curved towards the edges.

Some mods
F1 1996 | F1 2002 | F1 2007 | F1 2011 | F1 2013 | F1 2015 | F1 2018
car_wheel_front_cockpit.gp4 = front tyre shape used for the cockpit camera view only

car_wheel_front_lod_0.gp4 = front tyre shape for all other camera views

car_wheel_rear_lod_0.gp4 = rear tyre shape

Yes Tobi you're right. The maximum width of the tyres is same but bridgestone is more round and michelin is more square-ish.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask, does anyone have a skin for the original Ferrari? The one that comes with the game, since I can not put mods because my computer is very old and good of all the original skins that the game comes with ... The Ferrari is the ugliest ... It does not even have the advertising of Malboro ... It was that ... Can someone help me?
@Hega which parameter do I edit? Sorry :(

Take a look here: [www.gp4db.com]

The cars of Enzojz (Viper) should be what you are looking for!
Anyone can help me? Thanks
@Heikki, I have a question:
What shape do you use for helmets that are seen in your images? I refer especially to that of Hakkinen.

Bell KF-1 by jvinu2000. I converted it from Assetto Corsa to GP4. I will ask him if it's ok to share that shape.
