Some charitable soul reminds me how to edit "nr_champ_races.cap".
What was the value and which of the free hex editors could access that value?
Thanks in advance and know how to understand that I am getting older .. (not as much as Turbolover ...)

Do you mind to explain how you did it? I could never work out how the .cap files work....?

CAPs inject variables into GP4.exe
For example, in the IMSA mod I'm working on, as they are long-term races, the number of races can be set (for example 3,6,9,12,15 or 17 by default). That allows you to make the .cap file

To do this you must edit the CAP file with a hex editor. (remember to use the decimal to hexadecimal conversion table to check the values)

This example sets the championship duration to 9 races
