[RELEASED] F1 2019 event sound set v.0.92

Perfect friend, thank you very much. The work is great!

New version on first post. Changed all files to 24'000 Hz. Tested it without hardware acceleration (clean version of GP4) and GPxPatch v. 4.52, worked without problems.
Please tell me if there are still issues remaining.

I downloaded the "event sound set F1 2019 v.0.92" and I put it on my GP3 but I noticed that the sounds are very low !!!

I have other event sounds in the same installation and they work with good and loud sound but this one is very low.

I would like to know if anyone is experiencing this same problem although the forum here is GP4 and I am referring to GP3. I'm sorry for the intrusion.

Please, was there any way to increase the intensity of these sounds?


Another thing that was mentioned is how to configure the ini file to have the files in a subfolder

I created below the snd folder a subfolder called F1 2019 Event Sound Set and there I put all 55 wav files

In the snd folder I put the file "soundset.ini" but renamed it to "soundset F1 2019.ini"

Now comes the most important ....

Within the ini file I replace all lines with the sign from "=" to "= F1 2019 Event Sound Set \"

Here's an example ...

[Events]
EnterCockpit = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ EnterCockpit.wav
ExitCockpit = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ ExitCockpit.wav
LoadTrack = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ LoadTrack.wav
StartingLights1 = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ light.wav
StartingLights2 = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ light.wav
StartingLights3 = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ light.wav
StartingLights4 = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ light.wav
StartingLights5 = F1 2019 Event Sound Set \ light.wav
.
.
.

This can easily be done with the notepad in Edit - Replace

Click on the Find the "=" sign (without the quotes)
And on Replace with "= F1 2019 Event Sound Set \" (without quotes)
Click Replace All
Save and exit

Here's a tip that I received in another case. Maybe it can be usefull

The sounds from GP4 have very low gain level, so I’ve made them louder ( using Samplitude )
Also, I converted them into 8 bit mono ‘cause 16 bit sampling rate makes digital clicks

Hi evroic

The volume of all samples is the original from F1 TV (+ ~4db). With GP4 the volume is pretty okay (both F1 2019 mod and the original game).
Try to manually adjust your volume in GPxPatch if you are using the sound set with GP3 (f. e. 120%):

Im trying to put some sounds in the samples folder - radio.bnk file.
For some reason the sounds aren’t working. What bit rate and sample frequency do I need to ensure they work?

Covert the sound to 8 bits and rate 1025 , the sound now play in game

I must be doing something wrong because I convert a youtube clip to a wav and then convert to 11025 and 8 bits, but just silence in sample editor, but the wav plays perfectly.

I have same problem... With format factory doesn't work... What program I need to convert to wav files?

I found this page and works great to insert wav files to radio_eng.bnk
