Strange error with csm. No response.

i've already tried searching/asking for advice but no luck.

basically whenever i try to open CSM it doesn't respond to anything
i've tried turning off the antivirus, set it to admin and compatibility mode, reinstalling, following the guide for installing zaz tools but still no luck

note: all of the other programs in zaz tools seem to work


OS: Windows 10

Ram: 4GB

CPU:Intel Core i3 7020U

no, unfortunately not

I'll assume you have read the FAQ. Meanwhile, patience Padawan.

EDIT: To use CSM you must have a clean exe and wad. Occasionally the CSM restore function can fail, so clean backups are required.

i've had the same problem with csm and i found out, that i first have to start gpxpatch and after gpxpatch is closed again, csm works. The problem with csm for me was caused through a windows update last december. Since the windows update csm won't work on the regular way anymore

i can confirm that both of them are clean

i think that's the cause of it since it started not working well in december but still no luck

hm, the only thing i can think of is, that csm maybe is blocked by the windows firewall or your antivirus proggi, if you have one

Check that your antivirus has not removed csmcore.exe. If so, restore and whitelist.
