Custom Grids - Skipping Quali

Hi all,

To save time I’m looking to run races without doing quali. I’ve seen some custom grid tools but my question is what is the best option?

I want to run either quick races or non championship races using two player controlled cars. What I’m not sure of is do any custom grid tools allow the player to start from a position of their choice or always has to be at the back?

I have a problem then because when I use the tool with CSM and choose non championship race, the grid lines up as expected from the tool, but the player starts at the back (not selected on the tool).

Wierdly in quick race the grid lines up again as planned but the player always starts 6th...which is selected nowhere.

It’s like I’ve got the tool working but it’s ignoring the player grid slot chosen.

Can anyone help?

I like to do the same thing as you, namely to play in multiplayer without qualification.

in quick race, in options, you choose the starting position (6th by default) but as soon as you play 2 or more, you start in the background grid

if anyone knows a solution, i'm also interested

What tool you use please?

@Richard and Silvio, did you set the grid positions for every driver with the tool? maybe this helps

Yes I tried setting all different positions and still the players position on the grid is determined by the options in game and NOT by the tool. Also as soon as you use more than 1 car for the player - both start at the back.

hm, sorry i have no idea how to solve it
