so great, tks specially to you and Turbo Lover, I was waiting for it a long time... - Interlagos is one of the main keys to understand the first generations of great drivers we had. Emerson Fittipaldi used to say to any Brazilian boy interested in car racing: drive a kart and know Interlagos by heart. And Brazilian boys would draw Interlagos and name each one of the parts of the circuit, countless times.. - It had a very long high speed external ring, that could also work as an oval circuit, and then it would go to the "miolo" (the crumb), where the the skills of the pilot could be much more important than a powerful car. But you had to know how to adjust and drive in the highest speeds too, like the "retão" (big straight, 800m long) and the sequences of straights and high speed curves that would allow very bold manouvers. The Ferradura curve (Horseshoe), the Curve of the Sun (a very sensitive curve and also one of the biggest radius in the racing cars), etc. Generations of very good Brazilian drivers would say that Interlagos was a full top driving course for professional racing...

I am really enjoying this version of Interlagos, much more challenging than the newer 1 min 20 sec track. The track does seem very touchy when a wheel rolls up over a curb going into a turn (and thus causing a spin) compared to other tracks. Does anyone know of a magic data setting to improve this? Also, the early AI attrition rate is high. Has anyone experienced this and adjusted the numbers accordingly? Thanks

If I recall 1980 was the last year the old Interlagos circuit raced in Formula 1 before it was replaced by Jacarepagua until 1990 I think. Two great tracks.
