Iam working on the interlagos 1980 and it looks pretty nice;) but i have a camera issue:

The last 3 cameras dont show the cars. If I delete them add them new, it messes up all track in the cockpit view: The track becomes invisible.
What can i do to fix it?

How many cameras do you have? Do not exceed the number of cams set for each track.
Look at the GP4 builder user guide which explains very well this limitation.(ANNEX II - Building a track)

I have 16 cams. I saw in Annex II that interlagos2001 original has 12 cams, so I change the name of the files for montreal2001 who has 18, but it seams the same.
:-(

Yes, sure of course I just continued what you began:)

The tracks its pretty nice so far.

I allready "fix" it remove the 3 cams and change the others. I like the old TV-cams.
If you can add some ams would be nice!:

Me too, its a old circuit where can see the all track amazing.

Curva 3 its very dangerous...

I'm not really a fan of old Interlagos having played it in Automobilista. It has so many loooong corners, makes hitting the apex at the right spot really tricky. T1, 2 and 3 at modern Interlagos are my favourite turns of any track!

Salvasirignano, I never played the old interlagos in automobilista. I seen some versions in youtube: rfactor2, GPL, asseto corsa. The asseto corsa version seams the closer to the original.
My version, who Turbo Lover began, are more like the original. I try to make it based on the original one, there are not much pics or videos who shows nice views of it.

There still some issues that I dont like much: the texture bank has to much tiles.Anyway, I thing you will like it. There is much to do, but I hope to release it at christmas or between new year.

Looked up the original dat file of old Interlagos on my pc, I created it 10 (!) years ago!

Solved the issue with the track cams, solution is simple:

-Open gp4 file with gp4builder
-Go to Visibility Sets
-Select a Visibility Set
-Change at "Show car up to camera" the value to the total amount of track cams of the dat file
-Repeat the previous step for all following Visibility Sets
-Save gp4 file and compile new wad file

Yep, has to do with the check boxes regarding verge and banks mapping with "create track from dat".

I try to export the all banks from.dat to 3ds then remap all in 3dmax and import again in gp4builder, but doesnt does what I expect.

For Interlagos I used the verges as kerbs like Zandvoort. I see you created kerbs above those verges, imho they are way too bulky. Would be nice if you revert back to my idea. :)

For seamless integration of verges and banks, only the checkbox "Uniform Banks Mapping" must be checked with "Track from .dat".

Yes I remake the kerbs, because was easier to redo the "Track from .dat" if something goes wrong or to try something new. In you version the kerbs was "melting" with the grass:)

I try to check and then uncheck "Uniform Banks Mapping", the results dont seams to change much, must be the textures..:(

Uniform Verge mapping must be unchecked. The verge texture must be a quarter in width compared to the banks texture, example; verge texture is 256x1024, banks texture 1024x1024.
