Nation Flag vs Team Logo ( F1 2019 )

Hi

I am new here.

Does anyone have only the Team Logos like the one in the photo?



I would like to put them in the same way as they were made with the Nation Flag?

Here in GP4 is in PNG format and GP3 in TGA, right?


I found this on the link below and it's a job well done but I don't know how to put it on GP4 and GP3 too

Sorry, maybe the appropriate name for this image would be "F1 2019 TV Style"

The files in the download link are .png files and directly usable in GP4 if you cut out the team logo's. For GP3 they need to be converted to .tga and have a width and height that is a power of 2. If you have it working for GP4, you can email the images (without the driver and team names) to me and I will convert them to proper .tga files using a script I made.

Interesting link Evandro, thanks. I downloaded the 2007 files and Im trying to use them in gpxinfo. I copied a panel.ini file from another mod, made some arragements in panel and the images appear in GPxSAT even when the "Show in GPxSAT" is unchecked. Can someone help me?

Are you using Digital2010 mode?

Here is the result ( screen 1 and 2 ). Thanks a lot for the help.

I would like to ask you something

There is a possibility (screen 3) of placing the team logo on the bottom line.

Then we would have the nation flag in front of the driver's name (line 1) and the team logo in front of the team's name (line 2).

Have GPxPatch set this on and off for both cases independently ....

so I can have just the nation's flag or just the team logo, neither or both.

Think what's best ... I don't want to complicate or give you a headache.

I can do that, although it's not a standard TV style.

I believe it is not a good idea to put the team logo in front of the team name !!!

I realized that along with the team name comes the name of the engine and there won't be enough room for the logo.

So what we could have is the option will be to show it ( "on" or "off" ) the nation flag . Maybe "toggle" between the "nation flag" and "team logo". Both in the same position.

0 = off (no image will be shown)
1 = nation flag
2 = team logo

We could have in the folder "digital 2010" the folders "flags" and "logos" and inside the file "ini" configure this option ( 0 - 1 - 2 )

That would be pretty basic .... and I don't know if it would be worth so much effort for such a detail and as you said it wouldn't be a standard TV style.

Maybe in a future version of GPxPatch with a new layout we can have it close to reality and have an additional option that in certain camera positions we have the nation flag and in others the team logo like the photos I sent.

I really appreciate your initiative. Feel free to do what is best. I have no doubt that whatever you do will be of excellent quality. Let's wait.

If the team+engine name doesn't fit, it will be shown in a condensed font. This is already done for the driver name for example.
