I did'nt dare to say it but i have the same problem. There's too a strange thing : starting second or third lap a part of the overlays disapear, no more position and laptime. I've tried with several different mods, i've changed the CPU compatibilty at different levels. I tried to drive only on 5 laps to test, but nothing to do, the game crashes at the end of the race. I have the latest version of gpxpatch. The log is short :

Is someone has a solution please ? Many thanks.

I really don't know ... I haven't had any problems even playing 100% with several pit stops ... maybe René can help us with what is happening ...
The track has been downloaded 200 times and few issues have been reported ... I'm confused ...

I also get crash-to-desktop when trying to load the track. I cannot work out the issue. Shame because I really want to play this track!

strange, the track works OK for me. although I did very recently reinstall GP4 again

Didn't work for me in Linux either. Kept crashing at the end.

However, it DID work in Windows 7 (under VB).

Since then, it now works in Linux (under Wine) too!

Hardly a fix, but..


EDIT: Just deleted the whole thing and tried again. Didn't work this time. Still works in Win7 but not Linux. Think it might have something to do with GFX calibration (f1gstate.sav).

Nice circuit though. Thanks guys. I might not be able to play it, but it was nice to take a look at least.

By the way, do you know you have a spurious S1CT16.DAT in the monza2001.wad? I took it out, hoping that was the problem, but it wasn't. Still worked in Win7 without it though.

It’s the .wad that’s the problem. If I use the original monza2001.wad the track loads.

This PC is new, with Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bits), it did not have the track installed so I downloaded the download link (to rule out anything else) I loaded it with TSM in slot 15 and it works perfectly for me.
I am using CSM and Gpxpatch 4.52, verbosity "High" and compatibility CPU "0" ....

I got the original DAT file by TGF1DRIVER on the gp4 database and now it's really better. I run a full race and the game crashes only when i exit, but the game, the points, the position, the best laps etc... are kept.
