New installation / ferrari look like jaguar

I have done a new gp4 installation and downloaded the first car, Ferrari, So I started to update the cars wad, the ferraris come to live, however Jaguar car takes over??? How is this possible?

What Ferrari you've downloaded? Can you post a screenshot?
In addition I suggest you use CSM.

I don't know, I didn't understand the problem well.

I got it! The lower lods are missing.
Excalibur has released only "lod_0".

When i select the ferrari i see the ferrari but when i select the car in front of the ferrari or behind the ferrari the car changes into the green jaguar.

To fix go to f1graphics.cfg and set "use lod_0 only" to 1.

Correction: I think you can do it only with CSM ...

Do this: copy x4 the two .gp4 files, renaming them ...lod_1, ...lod_2, ...lod_3, ...lod_4, and then insert everything into cars.wad.

Hi , i renamed all .gp4 giles and it worked. Does this mean i have to do that for all cars? Than the cars.wad file will be very large (mbs)?
