Demoted from 2nd at the last second. Well done Gareth. But can't complain, that's a good result for me.

Sadly i could not fix the st wheel shaking, no idea where it comes from. Pitstops should work ok, however.

Track looks great, using the external track cams is quite tolerable, but when viewing onboard T-cam or other forward facing shots, it is quite hard to watch due to the jerkiness.
I may have a look at other versions of Estoril, just out of curiousity, and report back in coming days

Correct. For weather and results, i have to do the old "Print Screen", then jump back to windows to paste the screen shot to a paint program. Not at all a fool proof system, but 99.9% of the time it works.... Might look at alternate ways in the off season.

Quick bit of maths tell me it is now a 1pt gap between us for the WTC, with 2 rounds to go.
No more team boost for either of us, but 1 driver boost for me. It is all going to come down to luck, as to whether my final boost gives me that perfect lap to at least be faster than you Ed. But that only covers 1 round = gonna be a edge of the seat end to this season ;)

Tested other Estoril versions too while compiling the pack, think none was without issue of some sort. Maybe Ruben or gildoorf know more regarding the wheel shaking.

Gareth leads by 5 points if I'm not mistaken.

And by my calculations I have just cut my deficit to the leader from 21 points to 9 and I still have 3 team boosts and 2 driver boosts left ;)

I ain't out of this yet.

GPGSL Rd 12 European GP – Qualifying

Hello and welcome back. It’s now time for the race drivers to hit the track for qualifying, and once again the eyes will be on the weather as it’s quite possible the rain will play it’s part in deciding who our pole sitter will end up being. Let’s head trackside as the session is about to get underway.

Weather Report

Russell is the first driver out for group 1.

As such he is the first driver to set a time.

Silva goes into 2nd with a decent time.

Vilela in the Demon manages to go faster.

Gustavo and Rodriguez come across the line, with the MM Motorsports driver down in 7th and the MTP driver taking provisional pole.

It’s 2nd place currently for Elleker.

Sakata uses the speed of the Christel to move up into provisional pole.

There is literally nothing in it as O’Neill takes provisional pole away from Sakata.

Buitenhuis goes 6th fastest and Worseling goes 7th fastest.

Not sure what is going on with our coverage as some of our screenshots are not being taken properly. According to the standings Soutsen ends up the slowest in group 1.

Gilson gets the first runs underway for group 2.

Gilson puts in a fantastic time to take provisional pole.

6th for Keranen. It seems the pace they had in the testers free practice is not being replicated where it matters most.

Both MACs go to the top of the standings.

7th place currently for Hinz.

Both Warrington and De Bruyker set their times but can’t go higher than 15th in the standings.

Kederer goes 12th fastest. He won’t be happy with that as it leaves him far away from his closest championship rival.

Scala just can’t seem to replicate the same pace as his teammate.

Another error in the coverage sees the wrong screenshot posted. The standings shows McClure going 7th fastest.

Jalving joins his teammate down on row 8 provisionally.

Group 1 gets their final runs underway.

Buitenhuis is able to replicate the pace seen in the testers free practice and it’s enough to move him up into 2nd.

Worseling improves up into 4th. It looks like the pace is going good so far for SCR.

Soutsen improves but is unable to move up from the last row.

Kederer improves up to 9th. Being so far back from Pedersen means he’ll have to fight his way up through the field if he wants to keep in touch with his closest challenger.

De Bruyker improves but doesn’t move from 22nd.

Keranen improves to 11th.

With no more improvements that marks the end of the session, so here are the final standings.

Congratulation Michael Pedersen and MAC Racing, our pole sitter for the European GP. When we return next it’ll be race time so be sure to stay tuned for it.

Think I know what is wrong with Dxtory. It seems that some of the screenshots I end up taking somehow end up being delayed (which explains why I call it an error in the coverage as it wasn't a screenshot that I know I took). I've never had this issue before, and I'm thankful that it was only a few of the screenshots that were affected instead of all of them. When I run the race itself I'll be using auto capture for the screens so I don't think I'll have any issues there.

So if you use auto capture, how many hundred/thousands of pics do you end up with then?
For me, as previously mentioned, i simply let GpxPatch catch the pics by pressing F11 when necessary, then convert the pics taken into jpg via Pixillion Image Converter (been using this for many, many years, so there is surely a better freeware alternative available these days). I usually end up with around 300-400 pics for a race, then edit that down to a coverage posted. Doesn't take too long to do, once pics are uploaded and url codes sorted into order.

GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
An early look at the WTC standings after track action at Spa, sees the below.... Mathematically, anyone in the top 8 could still take this title, IF results went in their favour.

Super quali, a shame I couldn't outqualify my teammate.
