P13 in qualifying.. Not what I hoped for, we are faroff the pace..

But the shots in qualifying made me happy! Awesome angles, great work!

GPGSL Season 13, Round 11 Free Practise

Well, after a wacky false start to proceedings in Germany, we are back with the Free Practise session for Round 11, that WILL count! All previous results/discussion for Free Practise at Hockenheim deemed null and void, for technical breaches....

So, to keep the whacky theme going, lets talk about today's weather :
Looks like the 20% chance of rain is falling, but quite likely to disappear. Purchase your lottery tickets at the GPGSL marquee now....

Cars are on track....

Stoddart first to set a timed lap, as the rain lashes the fully wet track....

Sheppard next across the line...

Buitenhuis goes 4th...

Then Cremasco, who goes 2nd...

Williams takes 4th....

Calligaris then snatches that 4th place...

Soutsen puts in the 2nd fastest tine so far...

Greenhalgh, in highly boosted Alpha goes to the top...

Copeman goes mid pack, in 6th for now....

Cronin puts his Ecurie Mistral into 7th....

Savio in the MTP, just over 1 second off the pace, to round up the first wave of cars...

Michail the first of the second batch of cars, impresses with 3rd fastest...

McGregor into 4th....

O'Brien sends a strong message on the pace of the Tyrant, with 2nd fastest...

Karda manages to go 6th...

Majumadar disproves the pace of the Tyrant, managing only 15th...

Ingers had a good lap in his AMR, clocking the 6th fastest time so far...

Keranen dazzles in the 2KF1 entry, with 5th fastest....

Moinet pops up with 8th fastest so far....

Maverick in the MTP, in a strong 5th place....

Parachki in his first wet outing, not embarrasing himself at all in the midpack...

McCarthy with a great lap, to sit 2nd overall, as he finishes all cars initial runs...

Buitenhuis the first of the next group, moves up to 4th overall...

Soutsen leaps to the top of the charts....

Williams improves as well, into 8th for the rookie...

Looks like the rain is easing, as times start to get faster. Cremasco this time, up to 4th....

Stoddart licks his stamp, mails it and hits the top of the timesheet....

Savio can't quite match the pace, but sits in 7th....

Copeman shoots to the top spot....

Sheppard moves into 3rd on the table...

Greenhalgh slightly faster than Sheppard, moves to 3rd...

Cronin into 10th...

Michail the first of the final group, clocks the 3rd fastest time....

Just over 5 minutes to go, the final group of cars on track, and a distinct dry line appearing. Business is about to pick up and set the leaderboard alight....

McGregor nearly a full second faster than anyone else so far, as the track really dries up....

O'Brien goes fastest....

Calligaris moves into 3rd fastest for now, with 9 cars still to come...

Karda couldn't quite harness all the power in the Alpha this weekend, on a changing track, but still a respectable lap...

Majumadar with a 1.45.588 puts him in 4th at this point...

Ingers just 0.2 off the top time...

Moinet with a nice lap...

The boosted 2KF1 powers team boss Keranen to the #1 spot....

Parachki with a great run to be 7th with just 1 car to follow...

7th place for Maverick....

McCarthy got the best of conditions, but couldnt quite make it work, but ends up in 2nd place

So it is a BIG congratulations to Aidan Keranen, and 2KF1 Racing for being fastest in today's tricky conditions. Collect your free lottery ticket on the way out of the media center...

Not what we were expecting, but I'm sure Soutsen was just trying some new thing to the race, as for my performance, maybe I should not have driven from home, this Android we put behind the wheels is not supposed to be used under rain ;)

Looks like both of our championship hopes are all but over. The next round will determine if we stay in contention or drop out entirely, and depending on how it turns out will determine if we decide to put Majumdar in the car and allow Warrington to retire from the series early.

That was a slightly better result, all in all pretty good race weekend at Alpha :)

Dominik Karda | MAC Racing - #7 - Race Driver
Damn... from fifth to eleventh, disappointing rerun for me ^^
Almost grab a point, but then came the last lap... :(

Well, that race sucked...

And the FP session, well that sucked too! Only good thing was that both Ed G and myself missed out on points in the WTC. Brings a few chasers closer to us both though, as the season winds down.....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
I'll take that as a result! A great drive from Luke and Ryo was a tad unlucky. Another solid points haul for the team and a great finish to the race with some great racing up and down the field. Its such a shame they don't still use that track IRL.

GPGSL - Christel VXR team Boss S6-S8, S12 Onwards

Ohh, nice result after a dismal qualifying. I'm pleased with that, seems the boost worked out nicely.
