Eat all your soup and then we could talk about it... :)

uh oh...I just realised...I don't like soup...
"Cookie" Sakata on the front row.

In a short press release the Japanese driver has declared that he will fight for the victory with his teammate Luke Russell if need be.

"If Luke is in front of me after the first lap I will let him go, if not, he will have to overtake me like any other driver has to do. This may be my breakthrough race and I will certainly try to win it. But I will keep the team in mind as well and I will make sure that Luke and I don't do the same thing as F1 drivers Verstappen and Ricciardo did before us in Baku.".

Christel VXR driver #6.

Pole in the qualifying session, first place in the free practice - looks like the Alpha is doing well at the streets of Baku! :)

Good to finish inside the points, looking forward to being a main driver next season
Good session in FP for Gareth and I. Learnt a tiny bit, we may be able to pass on to our race drivers....

Oh meh ... looks like another midfield result for everyone in the team but me. Unfortunately, we're again losing touch to the top teams towards the end of the season. Starting to wonder, if I'm getting too old for this ...

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
It has not been unusual to get worse at second lap attempt.
This must be investigated by the crew or fighting for top 10 will be likely impossible.

GPGSL Season 13, Round 10, Azerbaijan GP

Welcome every single one of you, to the wonderful city of Baku, Azerbaijan.
Visiting the city for the first time in GPGSL history, the streets of Baku are about to awaken to the sound of 22 GPGSL cars tearing around for 22 laps of action...

With the WDC and WCC a close battle in each title, todays race may help to start to give us a clearer indication of the way things will pan out.
All eyes will be monitorting Kederer, Russell and Pedersen as the top placed WDC drivers...

Today's weather looks to be perfect, conditions ideal. So, lets get to it shall we...

Sean O'Neill leads the field on the short run to Turn 1...

So far, everyone is behaving, and managing to get through the 1st of many corners...

The field streak down towards Turn 3, with a few moves being attempted....

O'Neill leads the field....

Single file all the way down the front straight, as we enter Lap 2...

The two Christel VXR drivers are running together, in podium positions right now, with a looooong way to go....

O'Neill is beginning to vanish ahead of the two Christels though....

Full rundown of positions on display as we head towards lap 3....

The #8 Alpha leads the field...

Big challenge between Sakata and Russell....

And it is Luke Russell moving into 2nd...

A big squeeze put on Pedersen by Gustavo....

Gustavo holds the position....

De Bruyker in 6th, has Gilson and Kederer close behind....

Fastest lap to O'Neill, with the pack chasing him....

Gilson taking a look down the inside of De Bruyker....

And he makes it stick, putting the Brit into 6th place...

A 2.2 second lead for O'Neill over Russell....

Gilson has pulled a gap on De Bruyker over the course of the lap...

A good battle for 4th down to 9th as we can seen on screen, all from different teams...

But out front, O'Neill has a comfortable lead at this stage....

Russell trying to chase down O'Neill ahead of him, with team mate Sakata just over 2 seconds back...

Gustavo is coming under pressure from Pedersen...

A nice slipstream down the front straight....

And the MAC moves into 4th....

Jalving sits in behind Kederer on the drag down the front stretch...

The DMR draws alongside the Alpha...

Jalving has the inside line, and the overtake should be a formality....

The Dutchman up to 8th...

Evenly spread out from 6th through to 10th....

Positions 1-8....

Positions 9-16...

And positions 17-22....

Gilson begins to apply the screws on Gustavo....

The move looks inevitable from the SCR of Gilson....

Who will brake the latest into Turn 1....

Gilson makes the move, and is up to 5th spot...

4th through to 8th...

5th down to 10th...

Russell has pulled a nice gap on his team mate, but he can not see the race leader ahead of him...

A 2.4 second lead for O'Neill over Russell....

Clear road ahead for O'Neill....

Traffic ahead is the view for Kederer....

Smoke ahead, is the view Scala has! Who is it with the massive problem of what appears to be an engine about to blow???....

It's Greidanus. His day, is surely about to be over....

Our first pit stops are beginning....

Jalving once again taking a run down the inside, this time on De Bruyker....

And the DMR driver takes another position, moving past the Tyrant...

Greidanus is still going? Maybe he should have pitted??!!....

Buitenhuis puts a move on Silva, as they head to the hard braking of Turn 1....

Griedanus has finally pulled off the track, and will be out of the race....

Kederer emerges from pit lane, with Gilson just ahead of him....

O'Neill heads towards Turn 1, as Russell hits pit lane....

Pit lane is in full swing now, with many pitting this lap...

De Bruyker exits pit lane, with a clear track ahead and behind...

Jalving exits pit lane as well, having taken a whopping 4.7s longer than De Bruyker. Gilson and Kederer follow....

Pit cycle still on the go, mid way through the race....

Sean O'Neill can be seen on the front straight, whilst the camera focuses on his Alpha team mate Tobi Kederer....

Race leader Sean O'Neill having his pit stop...

O'Neill re-enters the circuit as his main chaser Luke Russell approaches from behind...

O'Neill has Russell far closer behind, than prior to the stops...

We will not jump to a few commercials, and have the run to the finish shortly afterwards. Don't touch that remote!!

Race not looking so good for Warrington so far. We need some sort of miracle to occur if we are to have any chance of keeping him in contention for the title.

Great start to the race so far! Hopefully we can keep this up and get a double podium! Both cars running beautifully.

well, as free practice went after qualifying, it shouldn't be a big problem to post the top 20 on the grid after the race... :-)

Didn't even notice in the perfs that we reverted to TNR xD My mistake there
Hello, I am interested in joining the series. However, I am currently unable to paint my own helmet. Can someone do me a favor, please? I am not asking for a basic painting, as a temporary workaround.
Come on Sean, you can do it!
