Damn, really caught out by the weather conditions. A rookie mistake I have to admit. I'll learn from it in the future.
FP showed that we have the pace but not the smartness to read the weather radar. Apologies to Carlos and Matteo. They both were quickest in their respective weather conditions but the drying track did not allow a better result. Nonetheless, let's give everything in the race and see what is possible.

The video misses the final row.

Since i am at the last place, it's not a big problem (at least of me...)

Vilela: "@#%*%#@ariu, Kederer, you're crazy"!!
Glen: "Calm down, Rodrigo, it happens".
Vilela: "Damn it! It was on purpose, because I would take pole"!
Glen: "Focus on a good race tomorrow. With the weather unstable, it will ...".
Vilela: "It is easier Nottingham Forest win Champions League and play the final of the Club World Cup with Portuguesa".
Glen: "Hahahahahaha ... in motorsport, the race only ends at the checkered flag".
Vilela: "Only if I take the flag and crack the head of that lunatic german"!!

This is just an F1 template, I can't put more than 20 drivers on the video.

I didn't make this video to be "official", I just do it for fun :)

Fingers crossed we can send TNR 2.0 out in a similar fashion to TNR xD
GPGSL Rd 8 Brazilian GP – Race Day

Part 1

Welcome back once again for the last time to Interlagos. We’re moments away from the start of the race, and from what was seen in qualifying at least two of the championship contenders are down the order, leaving Kederer in a very good position to potentially move into the championship lead. With 30 laps ahead of us we are in for a good race, and with the cars returning from the warmup lap it’s now time to head trackside for the start.

Weather Report

Five lights to go out, and then they’ll be released.

They’re off!

It’s Pedersen who takes the early lead of the race, leaving the cars behind him to battle it out among themselves as they head on down the long straight down to turn 4.

There’s been contact involving Soutsen in the MMM, leaving Elleker having to avoid hitting the stranded MMM.

It also leaves him vulnerable to the cars behind.

Soutsen is able to continue on after recovering, but no doubt he’ll be frustrated for throwing away his top 5 position.

Pedersen continues to lead comfortably over O’Neill.

Buitenhuis looks to be going for a move on Hinz.

And he manages to make it stick.

Behind Elleker the midfield looks to be really close to each other.

Greidanus goes for a move on Jalving, which ends up being unsuccessful.

Fastest lap goes to Pedersen.

Sakata is running quite well so far inside the top 5.

Scala goes for a move on Hinz.

That isn’t the only move being made as Buitenhuis also goes for a move.

The TNR succeeds with his move and moves up a position.

For Scala however the move is a failure.

He still manages to stay in touch with the AMR which should allow him to try his move again.

Kederer has a really good chance of taking the championship lead here today as long as he continues to remain in front of his nearest contenders.

Rodriguez loses a position to Buitenhuis.

Further back Scala has finally managed to get ahead of Hinz.

Rodriguez looks to be in danger of losing yet another position.

Which he does.

As we remain onboard with Rodriguez let’s take a look at the current standings.

Gilson finds himself in a battle just outside of the final points position.

Pedersen continues to increase his race lead over O’Neill.

Scala is on the move once again, this time at Elleker’s dispense.

Elleker lost some momentum as a result and is now at risk of losing his position to Warrington.

The Tyrant driver’s move is a success.

More midfield battles are taking place involving Gilson, Greidanus and De Bruyker.

Things just haven’t been going the way that Mistral were hoping for.

Keranen currently sits in 4th.

It is Gilson in the SCR, and heading into turn 1 he makes his move on Jalving and succeeds in getting ahead.

This is the closest it has been to seeing four wide down the straight.

There is a long line of cars lining up behind De Bruyker.

We could be seeing a move from Warrington very soon.

It comes much sooner than expected.

Kederer is getting closer to O’Neill. Could we be seeing some team orders from Alpha soon?

They’ll need to be cautious though as both TNRs are quite close enough to take advantage if something goes wrong.

Pedersen now has his lead out to almost 6s over both Alphas.

Silva looks to be on the defensive from his teammate. At the same time we have a yellow flag out.

That’s why the yellows are out. Scala has spun at the first corner.

Scala was attempting to make a move on Worseling, but ended up hitting the rear of the SCR and spinning.

He manages to get going again, but his chance at scoring a points finish is now gone unless he has some luck go his way.

The gap has decreased even further between the two Alphas.

Worseling was very lucky not to have spun as well after the contact from Scala.

Gilson could be on the move as he looks for a chance to get by Russell.

And he succeeds in getting the move done.

Rodriguez finds himself in an AMR sandwich.

Both Demons aren’t too far off from the final points position, but will need to keep pushing if they want to make it into the top 12.

Kederer finally gets ahead of O’Neill. Should Kederer manage to finish where he is now he’ll end up as the new championship leader.

Rodriguez has lost a position to the second AMR, and now he has to deal with Gilson who has closed in on him.

De Bruyker looks to be in a good position to get ahead of Russell.

It would appear that Rodriguez was able to defend his position, and De Bruyker was successful in getting past Russell.

Russell isn’t willing to let De Bruyker get away from him just yet.

Gilson wants another attempt at getting ahead of Rodriguez.

And this time around he manages to get ahead.

The move has left Rodriguez vulnerable to the cars behind.

De Bruyker gets ahead of the MTP.

Time for our first break now so we’ll be back soon for more action.

Yeah ... ok ... well ... Carlos' car performance is a joke with the highest perf and after a solid qualifying pace. Matteo had the pace but made the mistake ... obviously. This somewhat fits my day.

Christel VXR driver #6.

GPGSL Rd 8 Brazilian GP - Race Day

Part 2

We are back.

We could be about to see a similar situation that Alpha went through for TNR.

Silva is off the track.

As the replays shows he went off all on his own.

He gets going again.

7s lead now for Pedersen. He has control of this race and he knows it.

O’Neill loses his position to Buitenhuis.

That now leaves the Alpha driver vulnerable to a move from Keranen.

He tried to get ahead, but the defence from O’Neill was enough to hold him back.

Pitstops are now underway as Pedersen is the first driver in.

That leaves Kederer in the lead. With clear air ahead it now gives him a chance to start putting in some fast times prior to making his stop.

In comes Warrington for his stop.

Pedersen rejoins the track ahead of Gustavo.

More pitlane action gets underway.

That looks like a blown engine for Scala.

He manages to get off the track safely at least.

We have the confirmation of Scala’s retirement.

In comes Kederer for his stop. We’ll have to wait and see where he emerges in regards to Pedersen.

Keranen, Gilson and De Bruyker are all in as well.

Pedersen finds himself behind his teammate.

McClure is just ahead of both MACs but still has to make his stop.

Worseling is in from 2nd for his stop.

Hinz and Rodriguez follow him in.

Pedersen easily gets by Greidanus.

In for their stop comes Gustavo and Silva.

As we go onboard with Sakata let’s take a look at the standings.

Russell is doing well in defending his position from Vilela.

Vilela comes in for his stop, which takes the pressure off the Christel driver.

Greidanus is in to take his stop.

Warrington has found himself in the final points position.

We are almost done with the pitstops.

It would seem that the pace in both Demons have dropped off since the pitstops.

Russell is the last driver still to take his stop, and not too far behind is Pedersen who could potentially take the lead back.

Pedersen wasn’t quite able to use his speed to get ahead before the Christel headed into the pits.

Sakata is lining up Worseling for a move.

And he gets ahead before they enter turn 1.

Further back Warrington loses a position to Hinz.

Now he is vulnerable to Gilson.

It’s another position lost for the Tyrant driver.

Now it’s up to Tyrant to decide if both of their drivers should be allowed to race each other.

Demon are in a similar position as well.

With all pitstops now completed let’s take a look at the standings.

Time for our final break. We’ll be going to the end when we return.

Part 3

We are back for the final time.

We are able to see just how big the gap is between Pedersen and Kederer.

We have a battle on our hands at the back end of the top 10.

Elleker could be about to make his move on Worseling.

And he gets it done at turn 1.

It looks like it’s SCR versus AMR at this point.

Gilson has managed to get ahead of Hinz.

Now De Bruyker will have a chance to challenge Hinz for his position.

It’s on between the Demon drivers.

And it’s Vilela who emerges ahead.

That leaves Jalving having to try and defend his position from Russell.

Russell goes for a move.

And he succeeds in getting by.

It takes until the start of the next lap for McClure to get close enough to make his move on the Demon.

Like so many teams before MMM have found their drivers in battle with each other.

O’Neill could be in danger of losing his top 5 position soon to Sakata.

Worseling loses his position to his teammate.

All Rodriguez can hope for is that he can stay in his current position and bring home a point for MTP.

Warrington however will be trying hard to get the position for himself.

Next to make a move on Jalving is Greidanus.

Pedersen’s lead is slowly starting to decrease. Are we about to see a fantastic finish to this race?

Sakata has managed to get ahead of O’Neill.

De Bruyker tries for a move on Worseling, only for it to fail.

The gap between 1st and 2nd is definitely getting smaller. But can Kederer still manage to close in enough with 4 laps left to go.

O’Neill’s pace must surely have dropped off since taking his stop as he is unable to match his teammate’s pace.

Vilela is now right on the back of Warrington.

He makes his move and succeeds in getting by.

Jalving has lost the position to Greidanus.

It’s another position lost for O’Neill.

He tries to get it back, and manages to get ahead as Elleker runs slightly wide.

With the pace still not at where he would want it to be O’Neill is unable to start pulling away from the cars behind him.

The lead is still decreasing, but it looks like Kederer is going to run out of time to close in closer.

We have a couple of moves being made.

And both moves end up being successful.

De Bruyker has managed to get by Worseling to now sit inside the top 10.

We are now at the final lap.

Another move by De Bruyker has seen him get ahead of Elleker.

Rodriguez still has 12th place, but Vilela will be doing all he can to try and get ahead and take the final point for himself.

Total domination here today from Pedersen.

He takes the chequered flag to win the Brazilian GP, capping off a perfect weekend and putting himself back into championship contention.

Kederer finishes in 2nd and moves into the championship lead.

Buitenhuis takes the final podium place.

It would appear that Rodriguez and Vilela crossed the finish line side by side, with the MTP driver just barely staying ahead.

Congratulations to Michael Pedersen and MAC Racing, our Rd 8 winners.
