That Russell must be stopped.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Carlos did the best he could do to salvage some points. Pitty that Matteo lost some time and probably a point in the pits, but that's racing. Interlagos will be a different race again!

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
That was another rubbish weekend. Maybe Brazil will suit us better.

Joseph Gilson :: Southern Cross Racing :: Race Driver
That race was a waste of time for us... As this whole season!

Expecting way better after fighting for podiums last season... Last of the points scorning in the standings. What a nightmare!... :(

Wow what a fantastic weekend! What a race!

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Probably my worst race of the season, bad start of 2020.. hopefully the new car is ready soon and will do some miracles for us!

Announcement

I'm really pleased to finish third at the US GP and with me finishing on the podium, I feel like now is a good time to announce that I'll be retiring from the series at the end of the season. I've thoroughly enjoyed the series, including being the champion in season 2, but with my new job with Tranmere Rovers and my new volunteer role at Football Manager fansite FM Base, I'm really struggling with keeping up with the series as much as I'd like.

I'd like to thank everyone involved with GPGSL for all your hard work, you are a credit to this community.

Now that's what I call a great race. Double podium for both cars...fantastic result!(Y)

Kimi forever!
What a good weekend to forget

Sorry to hear that my friend, will miss you as my teammate next season... well real life goes on, and you gotta do what you gotta do.
But first let us win the constructors titel and maybe your 2nd Championstitel (you are still in the running) and... then you end your gpgsl career with a bang !
Lets go for it,
Marcus

And about the race itself... it couldn't be better ! Nice coverage btw ;-)

GPGSL-3: VTR Driver, S4~S11 (2nd, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3th, 4th, 3th, 2nd)(Constructorstitel S7 & S9)
GPGSL-4: ONE Racing Driver, S8~S11 // TYRANT Racing Driver, S12:1st, S13:13th, S14:1st, S15:13th //
WREXHAM Motorsports Racing Driver S16: ?
Bit disappointing for Toby to only get a 6th place finish despite having good pace - looks like maybe a slight issue before the stops as discussed. As for Sean, we need to work on our reliability so it doesn't happen again.

And thanks John for your contribution to the series!

Good luck for the rest of the season John W - not too much luck though!
Looks like a potentially 'hot' seat on offer for next season now with John vacating the series. Will be a big decision for Greg to decide on...

When the time is right I'll end up making an announcement regarding our Season 14 lineup.

We all know GP4 and this league is run, with a bit of luck drawn out of a hat at times, to give us results. Sometimes, the season after season of building up a strong perf, just isn't the path to winning a title :
Luke has now run 22 races in his GPGSL career. with just 4 points paying finishes in his first 15 races. Now in just his second full season, 7 races in : 3 wins, and 4 other points paying finishes and sits atop the WDC field, with 7 races to go.
3 personal boosts to use, and up to 5 more team boosts to ride home on. Will be very interesting to see how that luck continues, and whether the team/driver strategies work out...

Good luck to Luke in the chase for the WDC. Can't possibly lose from here, what could possibly go wrong?? ;) :)

FYI, i have still been recording results for this sideshow. But, i have not quite looked at a final playoff system i truly like.
Ideally, we would have 1 extra race on the calendar (15 in total), then "my" ideal 4 race finals series would crown the winner - who knows, i may even just run a totally random race with NO boosts for any team/driver to get that extra race in the GPGCL books??!!)
There are obviously plenty of systems used in world sport to have a playoff series/finals played. I am seriously tempted just to keep going, and complile the results under the guise of many of these systems, just out of interest.

The question is, is anyone else interested, or is it just me interested as i sit down occasionally with a nightly beer, doing these spreadsheets? LOL! I wont be offended if not interest.
But, i will push for a minimum 15 race calendar in season 14 to make my grand plan work for finals :)
