Very tempted to do just that. Nah, coverage will be posted as normal, but might be a relatively short one, with start/pit stop action/retirements/closing lap.

Hoping to get Qual posted in next 24 hrs or less....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Welcome all to the city of Austin, deep in the heart of Texas.
Qualifying for Round 7 awaits us, for the US GP.

Pit lane is open, cars out on track.....

First on track setting a lap time, Vitor Gustavo in the MMM entry...

Worseling 3/4 a second slower, in 2nd...

Silva into 2nd...

Luke Russell obliterates the rest, leaping to the top of the chart...

Buitenhuis impresses, going 3rd...

Warrington takes 2nd...

Rodriguez jumps into 4th...

O'Neill slots into 2nd...

Sakata clearly had trouble with his lap, over 5 seconds off the pace...

Soutsen, back wearing his correct helmet, goes 8th...

Vilela puts in the 4th fastest lap....

That wraps up the first wave of cars. Onto the second group to hit the

track...

Hinz in the AMR is first on track for the second group of qualifiers...

Kederer instantly quick, up to 2nd...

Elleker goes 8th in the AMR....

Keranen into 14th in the TNR....

McClure, back in the Ecurie, sits 11th...

MAC's Greidanus into 6th....

De Bruyker off the pace, down in 18th...

Jalving running with no boost, limps into 13th on his first run...

Gilson manages only 15th...

Pedersen clocks the 7th best so far...

And rounding out all drivers to post their first laps, Scala in the MTP goes

9th...

Sakata makes his 2nd lap count for something, getting himself up to 8th...

Vilela improves, up to 4th...

Russell cant match his earlier lap time, but holds onto provisional pole with

plenty of cars still to come....

Rodriguez jumps the order, up to 7th...

AMR's Jack Elleker improves his earlier time...

Gustavo goes 2nd fastest!!

Warrington takes over the 2nd spot....

De Bruyker puts in a lap more like we are used too...

Gilson improves, but only to 15th...

Keranen up to 13th....

Pedersen with a great lap, matches the time of Warrington, and moves to 3rd...

Greidanus takes 7th...

Hinz instantly takes over the 7th spot on the grid...

Scala takes 13th on the grid....

Jalving closes out the session, taking 10th spot on the grid...

Full results from today's qualifying session. See you back here for all the

action of Round 7 at the US GP....

You're all good. Otherwise I'd have sent you a PM about it.

As for qualifying, what a result for the team. It's been quite sometime since we last had both cars starting from inside the top 6, and hopefully that can convert into a good result in the race.

Mid pack, bit disappointing

Very happy with that.

Had hoped for more tbh...

Another win for Mr Russell then, seeing how 5/6 times this season the race was won by the polesitter
