GPGSL-4: testdrivers champion in Season 11!
After seeing what the new look F1 car of 2021 looks like it has me thinking of what the future car (or cars) of the GPGSL will end up looking like. With Maikel still AWOL I highly doubt we'll be seeing any new cars from him (which means no chance of a SMD ZG03), and I'm not sure what is available that can be considered as a potential replacement for the current cars.
This is the new concept car for S14. It will improve overtaking, increase speed by reducing some of the aerodynamics, and an additional cap on team spending to $50 will even out the teams to improve competition.

Well, nobody asked for it, so here it is.....
The GPGSL Season 13 Bracket Tournament. Yes, another pointless sideshow to the GPGSL Season.....
To give an overview, the 11 teams in GPGSL start the tournament, with seeds running in order of S12 Constructors finishing order. So, Tyrant at #1, SCR at #2, DMR #3 etc, all the way to TNR as #11 seed. The bracket fixture saw Round 1 in Melbourne host 3 games, Round 2 in Sepang a further 4 games, 3 games at Monza and another 4 at the last round at Zolder. Game number 15 and 16 in the sequence take place this upcoming round in Austria....
The season runs all the way through to the end of Round 9.
Each team was/is given points with the combined finishing positions of both race drivers, with points allocated as per the perf calculator (no real reason why this was done, just an allocation of points worth using for this novelty....)
So, after 4 rounds of action, the bracket looks like the following.....
Yep, this is simply awe inspiring, and i know you are all on the edge of your seats trying to comprehend all this. Hey, what else was i to do on a hot Friday night here, after a long day of work, then 3hrs of kids sport in the twilight? Creating this mind-blowing table seems the most (ir)relevant way to utilise my time tonight..... Oh, whats that you say, you wanted to see the updated standings of the GPGCL?? Hold on to your hats.... LOL
