I don't think I've ever come across that problem, but I do have a couple of other hints in case you're still having issues with GPxTrack:

1) Every track's .dat file contains a 'pointer' to the associated .wad file. GPxTrack makes this pointer needless because GPxTrack is now in control of which track files will be loaded. I find removing this pointer helps to avoid issues when loading custom tracks.

2) This one is more advanced but is not often required. I said above that the .wad filename doesn't matter just as long as it's one of the original 17 filenames. That's not strictly true... Actually, a .wad file is like a .zip file - a file that contains more files. Within the .wad the file structure is strictly controlled by GP4, so you will always find the same set of folders, like this:

a1ring2001.wad
- fonts
- maps
- - a1ring2001
- - - a1ring2001.col
- - - etc...
- - resources
- samples
- - crowddata
- - - a1ring2001.crd

Notice how the same 'prefix' keeps occurring throughout the .wad structure. You should ensure the .wad filename matches the prefix of all the files inside it.

@ landex.

OK, it's something that happened to me and that was the fix, but that's not your problem it seems.

So, what happens when you run easywad.exe?

@Noop

Easywad.exe runs fine. But I dont have any "advanced" Button or menu like you said.

My question was if I can pack the files with command com? Like zip files

Not that I know of. But wouldn't it always be easier and quicker to dbl-click a .wad and update or extract the .wad file contents from within Windows anyway? Why would the developer bother making a command line option available?

Just for making the renaming files in the wads easier:)

Ever tried a batch renamer? Some also let you make a copies: copy lod 0 and create lod 1, 2 & 3 etc. Not sure what to recommend - the last one I ever used in Windows was Lupas Rename 2000 but that was a lifetime ago when I had to update the name of thousands of files in one go.

I thing you misunderstood me. I met for the tracks. rename wad, folders in the wad and .gp4 in the wad. As a batch or command.
Unfortunaly, I dont know how the wad file is compacted, if i knew I could make a program for it. Like "Gestor de circuitos para GP4.exe", this program is not bad at all, but has some issues who makes gp4.exe corrupt.

Like TomMK, explained very good: If the .dat file has a wad in the info, it doesnt loads the circuit and crashes.
